OTD in UVU History: Robinson sets program HR record

On This Day in UVU Athletics' History continues with softball's Amanda Robinson's record-setting home run against Grand Canyon University. On April 12, 2014, Robinson became the program's all-time home runs leader with the 32nd of her career, which surpassed then-leader Amanda Perez.

Robinson finished her career with 41 home runs, which still stands as the program record. She hit No. 41 in Utah Valley's only NCAA Tournament appearance, on May 16, 2004 at No. 1 Oregon. Current Wolverine Lyndsay Steverson is currently second on the career list, with 33. Robinson also holds the single-season home run record when she hit 13 in 2012. That has twice since been matched, by Jaylen Watson (2015) and Brittney Vansway (2017).
