ARLINGTON, Texas – After securing his fourth individual title of the season, Utah Valley sophomore Dane Huddleston has been named the University Credit Union Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Men's Golfer of the Week for his performance at the Bandon Dunes Championship in Bandon, Oregon.

Huddleston shares this week's honor with Grand Canyon's Matthew Diehl, who earned two top-10 finishes last week, including a victory at the Desert Mountain Collegiate in Scottsdale, Arizona, and a sixth-place finish at the GCU Invitational in Phoenix.

Huddleston posted rounds of 67-68-67 to finish at 11-under-par 202, winning the tournament by seven strokes. His first-round 67 and second-round 68 were the lowest individual scores of each respective round in the field. His 202 total also ranks as the third-best 54-hole score in the history of the Bandon Dunes Championship.

The victory marked Huddleston's fourth individual title of the season, tying former Wolverine Brady McKinlay for the most wins in a single season in program history. He also claimed individual titles earlier this season at the Utah Shootout (Oct. 14), Kapolei Invitational (Oct. 31), and Mesquite Desert Classic (Feb. 18).

Huddleston has now earned WAC Golfer of the Week honors for the second time this season. He previously won the award on Feb. 19 following his victory at the Mesquite Desert Classic.

The Wolverines return to action at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic, March 31-April 1, at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club in Maricopa, Arizona.
