BROOKINGS, South Dakota – Four Utah Valley State players recorded double figures in kills, but South Dakota State outlasted the Wolverines in five games Saturday, 26-30, 30-25, 25-30, 32-30, and 12-15.

Utah Valley State held off a SDSU match point at 29-28 in game four, and eventually won the set 32-30, to force a deciding fifth game.

"We battled hard, but just came up short in the end," said head coach Sam Atoa. "We had some contributions from several different players which was great, but just couldn't hold on."
