DEFINED TERMS

For purposes of this policy: 

• “Code” refers to the UVU Athletics Fan Code of Conduct. 
• “Event” refers to the specific UVU athletic game, match, or competition for which the Ticket grants admission.
• “Guest” refers to any person attending a UVU Athletics Event, including spectators, media, vendors, VIPs, and invitees.
• “Holder” refers to the individual who possesses or uses the Ticket.
• “License” refers to the limited, revocable permission granted to the Holder to access the designated Event under this Agreement.
• “Term” refers to the UVU Athletics Ticket Use Terms & Conditions.
• “Ticket” refers to any valid, authorized proof of admission—whether digital, printed, complimentary, or Credentialed—granted by UVU Athletics that permits access to a designated UVU athletic Event.
• “Venue” refers to the designated stadium, field, arena, center, ballpark, or facility where a UVU athletic Event takes place, on or off campus.
• “UVU” refers to Utah Valley University and its affiliates.

TICKET USE TERMS & CONDITIONS

This Ticket Use Terms & Conditions Agreement governs the use of Tickets issues for entry to UVU Athletic Events. By purchasing, possessing, or using a Ticket, the Ticket Holder agrees to the following Terms:

1. Revocable License
   • This Ticket is a limited, revocable License and may be revoked at any time without refund and for any reason, including but not limited to noncompliance with these Terms. Unauthorized duplication, resale, or tampering renders the Ticket void.
2. Assumption of Risk
   • Holder voluntarily assumes all risks incidental to attendance at the Event, including risk of personal injury, illness, or property damage, whether occurring before, during, or after the Event. Holder releases UVU, its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from any claims arising out of such risks.
3. Health & Safety Compliance
   • Holder agrees to comply with all health and safety policies, screening procedures, and protocols in effect at the time of the Event, including those issued by UVU, public health authorities, or Venue personnel. Failure to comply may result in denial of entry or removal without refund.
4. Admission & Conduct
   • This Ticket provides access only to the specific Event listed and is subject to Venue and UVU policies. Guests must behave respectfully toward student-athletes, coaches, officials, staff, and other Guests; avoid disruptive behavior, foul or abusive language, obscene gestures, or interference with the game; and follow seating assignments and Venue staff instructions. UVU reserves the right to deny or revoke admission without refund for behavior deemed disorderly, unsafe, or in violation of any policy.
5. Re-Entry
   • Same-day re-entry is permitted only with a valid Ticket and official hand stamp. All re-entering Guests are subject to security screening, and prohibited items may be confiscated. UVU may suspend or revoke re-entry privileges at any time without notice.
6. No Refunds or Exchanges
   • All sales are final. No refunds, exchanges, or cancellations will be issued except in the case of a full Event cancellation with no rescheduled date, in which case UVU may, at its discretion, offer a refund or credit.
7. Ticket Validation
   • Tickets are valid only if obtained through UVU or university-approved Ticketing platforms. UVU is not responsible for lost, stolen, counterfeit, or otherwise invalid Tickets.
8. Ticket Transfer & Resale
   • Tickets may only be resold or transferred through UVU-approved platforms. Unauthorized resale, including resale above face value or bulk resale for profit, is prohibited. UVU reserves the right to cancel or restrict Tickets in cases of excessive or improper resale. Season Ticket packages purchased for the primary purpose of resale may be voided.
9. Complimentary Ticket Restrictions
   • Complimentary Tickets are non-transferable and may not be sold or exchanged for value. Use must comply with NCAA, UVU, and Venue policies.
10. Search & Security
    • All Holders and their belongings are subject to search upon entry. Prohibited or suspicious items may be confiscated. Failure to comply may result in denied entry or removal without refund.
11. Prohibited Items
    • Weapons, alcohol, controlled substances, and other restricted items are not permitted. A complete list of prohibited items is available at the Prohibited Items tab. Venue staff reserve the right to prohibit any item deemed unsafe or disruptive.
12. Media Release
    • By attending the Event, Holder grants UVU and its agents the unrestricted right to use Holder’s likeness, image, voice, and appearance in any live or recorded broadcast, photograph, or other media, without compensation or further authorization.
13. NCAA Compliance
    • Ticket use must comply with NCAA regulations. Student-athletes, recruits, or their family members may be subject to additional restrictions. Violations may result in NCAA sanctions.
14. Postponement or Cancellation
    • In the event of postponement, Tickets may be honored at the rescheduled Event date. If the Event is canceled and not rescheduled, UVU may provide a refund or credit at its discretion.
15. Limitation of Liability
    • To the fullest extent permitted by law, UVU and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to use of the Ticket or attendance at the Event. Holder agrees to indemnify and hold harmless UVU from any claims arising from violation of these Terms.
16. Privacy & Data Use
    • UVU Athletics collects and uses personal information solely for Ticketing and customer service purposes, in accordance with UVU’s Privacy Policy. Information will not be sold or shared with third parties, except as required by law.
17. Digital Ticket Printing Policy
    • Tickets are issued digitally be default. Physical Tickets may be purchased at the Box Office for an additional fee. UVU is not responsible for lost, damaged or delayed printed Tickets.

FAN CODE OF CONDUCT

Utah Valley University is committed to providing a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for all Guests. By attending a UVU Athletics Event, each Guest agrees to comply with this Fan Code of Conduct.

1. Respectful Behavior
   • Guests Must:
     • Treat all student-athletes, coaches, officials, staff, and fellow Guests with courtesy and respect.
     • Refrain from disruptive, threatening, or aggressive behavior.
     • Avoid foul, abusive, or obscene language or gestures.
     • Refrain from harassment or discrimination based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other protected class.
2. Prohibited Actions
   • Guests Must NOT:
     • Fight, taunt, throw objects, or attempt to enter the playing area.
     • Sit in seats other than those specified on your Ticket.
     • Possess or use weapons, fireworks, drones, or other dangerous items.
     • Be publicly intoxicated, consume alcohol excessively, or provide alcohol to underage Guests.
     • Smoke, vape, or use tobacco outside designated areas.
     • Possess of signs, banners, or flags that obstruct views, contain offensive language or imagery, or are mounted on poles or sticks.
     • Bring pets. Only service animals, as defined by the ADA, are permitted.
3. Compliance & Cooperation
   • Guests Must:
     • Comply with all instructions from Venue staff regarding seating, operations, and emergency procedures.
     • Follow all health and safety guidelines in effect at the time of the Event.
     • Follow all NCAA, conference, and UVU rules, including those related to student-athletes, recruits, and complimentary Tickets.
4. Bag & Entry Screening
   • Guests Must:
     • Comply with all entry screening procedures. All Guests and belongings are subject to search.
     • Not bring prohibited items. Prohibited items will be confiscated or denied entry.
5. Media & Recording
   • Guests Must:
     • Consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded for use in any current or future media by UVU and its partners without compensation.
     • Receive written consent for commercial activity, including photography, video, or audio recording for commercial purposes.
6. Enforcement
   • Violations of the Code may result in:
     • Warning or seat relocation.
     • Ejection from the Venue without refund.
     • Temporary or permanent ban from future UVU Athletics Events.
     • Referral to law enforcement.
   • Reporting issues:
     • Guests should report inappropriate behavior to the nearest Event staff or security personnel.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

For the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all Guests, the following items are prohibited inside UVU Athletics Venues. UVU reserves the right to amend this list at any time and to refuse entry to any Guest in possession of an item deemed unsafe or disruptive.

Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:

• Aerosol cans or spray containers
• Alcoholic beverages, illegal substances, or drug paraphernalia
• Animals, except trained service animals as defined by the ADA
• Beach balls, frisbees, or any projectile
• Clothing displaying explicit language, profanity, or derogatory characterization toward any person(s)
• Explosives, fireworks, flares, or other incendiary devices
• Glass bottles, aluminum cans, or metal containers (excluding medically necessary items)
• Hard-sided coolers or oversized bags
• Large stadium seats or camp chairs
• Laser pointers, flashlights, or similar items intended to distract participants
• Masks that cover more than the mouth and nose
• Noisemakers, air horns, whistles, megaphones, or musical instruments (unless permitted by NCAA rules)
• Outside food and beverages (unless medically necessary or for infant care)
• Personal heaters
• Professional cameras or recording devices with detachable lenses, drones or unmanned aerial vehicles, tripods, monopods, or selfie-sticks (unless authorized)
• Signs, banners, flags larger than 11” x 17” or containing obscene, offensive, or commercial content
• Skateboards, rollerblades, scooters, etc.
• Weapons of any kind, including firearms, knives, tasers, and pepper spray (even if permitted by law)

All Guests and belongings are subject to search. Prohibited items must be returned to a vehicle or discarded before entering; UVU does not provide storage and is not responsible for confiscated items.

ADA ACCOMMODATIONS

Utah Valley University is committed to providing a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for all Guests.

1. Accessible Seating
   • Available at all UVU Athletics Venues for Guests with mobility impairments and their companions.
   • Companion seating is limited to three (3) seats, subject to availability.
2. Requesting Accommodations
   • For accommodations or equally effective alternative formats, contact the UCCU Center Ticket Office at least five (5) business days before the Event. UVU will work in coordination with Accessibility Services to address your needs and provide appropriate accommodations.

   • UVU will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests with shorter notice.
3. Parking & Drop-Off
   • ADA parking is available with a valid placard or license plate.
   • Drop-off zones are located near Venue entrances.
4. Service Animals
   • Service animals as defined by the ADA are welcome. Emotional support and therapy animals are not permitted unless required by law.
5. Amenities
   • Venues feature elevators, ramps, accessible restrooms, and clear signage.
   • Guest Services and trained Event staff are available to assist.
