UVU Sports Medicine

The Utah Valley University Sports Medicine Department is committed to fostering excellence in the prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. Our mission is to empower student-athletes through compassionate care, evidence-based practice, and collaborative support that enhances performance, promotes lifelong wellness, and upholds the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct. While delivering exceptional care, we utilize a multidisciplinary team approach, that include athletic trainers, physicians, psychologists, dietitians, massage therapists, physical therapists, chiropractors, strength coaches, sports scientists and other specialty providers as needed.

We strive to:

Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care that prioritizes safety, recovery, and optimal athletic function.
Educate and mentor future athletic training professionals through rigorous academic and clinical experiences.
Cultivate interdisciplinary partnerships with coaches, medical staff, and faculty to ensure holistic athlete development.
Champion diversity, integrity, and innovation in all aspects of athletic healthcare.
