Wolverine Update:
Utah Valley State (8-9) split two matches last week with Mountain West Conference opponent Wyoming and fellow Division I Independent Northern Colorado.

The Wolverines came back from two games, and two match points down in game three to defeat the Cowgirls in a dramatic five set match on Friday night, and then lost to Northern Colorado in three games Saturday night.

UV has three players who average over three kills per game, in Jessica Endres (3.37), Anne Olsen (3.29), and Camie Manwill (3.12). Endres also leads the Wolverines in both kills (229) and hitting percentage (.339). Setter Lacee Koelliker has been solid all season, averaging 12.04 assists per game. She has also dumped the ball in a timely fashion, hitting at a .304 clip.

Maegan Hoyt averages just under five (4.87) digs per game, she has only finished in single digit dig totals in three matches this season.

Scouting the Opposition:
BYU: The Cougars are a perfect 15-0 under first year head coach Jason Watson. They come into Tuesday's match ranked 16th in the nation. BYU's seventh player has been its home crowd, as the Cougars have averaged 1768 fans over seven home dates. The Cougars are led offensively by Chelsea Goodman and Erica Lott. Goodman has 232 kills, averaging 4.00 kills per game, while Lott has recorded 221 kills on the season, an average of 3.88 kills per game. Lauren Evans averages 12.84 assists per game for BYU. Evans is the daughter of former Utah Valley State head volleyball coach Lori Richards.

Last Time Out:
UNC (10-15-05): After an exhausting five game win over Wyoming, Utah Valley State came out flat against Northern Colorado losing in three games, 15-30, 25-30, 26-30. Utah Valley only had one player with double figure kills, and only hit .086 as a team. Jessica Endres was the lone Wolverine in two-digit kills with 10, while Anne Olsen and Camie Manwill added nine apiece. Olsen was one kill away from a double double, as she put 10 digs on the night. The Wolverines were also up against UNC's home winning streak of 31, and a drought of six straight losses against the Bears. The UNC's streak at home just happens to be the second longest in NCAA Division I. The Bears hit .197 as a team, and had three players with double figures in kills.

UW (10-14-05): The Utah Valley State volleyball team rallied from a two-game deficit to beat the University of Wyoming 21-30, 29-31, 32-30, 30-26, 15-9. It looked as if Wyoming was going to win the match in three games as they led the Wolverines 29-26. But after three unsuccessful attempts at swinging for match point the Wolverines rallied for the 32-30 win. In game 4, Utah Valley State jumped out to a 10 point lead and held on for the five point win. The momentum carried into the deciding game as the Wolverines controlled the momentum from the start and cruised to the 15-9 win. Camie Manwill led the Wolverine offensive attack with 18 kills. Jessica Endres added 17 while Anne Olsen had 16 kills. Both Manwill and Olsen recorded double doubles as they recorded 15 and 14 digs, respectively. Setter Lacee Koelliker was one kill away from her first career triple double. She had nine kills, hit .308 and did a nice job setting up the Wolverine offensive attack with 59 assists, to go along with 14 digs.
