RENO, NEVADA - The struggles continued for the Utah Valley State softball team as they lost 7-1 to Nevada on Sunday. Utah Valley trailed 2-0 after the first inning. Rachel Hartgrove then cut the deficit to 2-1 when she scored the only run of the game off a double by Amanda Kendzior. Nevada then added three runs in the bottom of the third and two in the bottom of the sixth to seal the win.

The Wolverines had seven hits and were led by Sara Roskelley's two. They are back in action on Wednesday at 1 p.m. in a doubleheader against SUU. The two teams have already twice with SUU winning one game 10-9. The second game ended in a 4-4 tie after the game was called in the bottom of the seventh due to rain and snow showers.
