OREM, Utah - Utah Valley looks to extend its six-match winning streak this Friday night when fellow D-I independent Texas-Pan American comes to Orem.
It will be the third of nine matches this season against independent school, including the year-end Independent Championship, held in Orem on November 16-17. UV is 2-0 so far against independent schools.
The Wolverines (11-5) defeated independent Chicago State 3-0 on Monday after winning the NJIT Invitational the over the weekend with wins over Columbia, NJIT and St. Francis.
Senior Jessica Endres was named to the all-tournament team after averaging 4.82 kills and hitting .429 in three matches.
Then on Monday, Endres hit .591 and had 15 kills in the sweep at Chicago State. Four Wolverines with 10 or more attempts hit over .400 as the team hit a season high .364.
The Wolverines will play at BYU next Tuesday at 7pm in a match that can be seen on BYU-TV. Following that match, UV will hit the road for two matches at CSU Bakersfield on Friday and Saturday.
