With the win, UV improves to 3-2 on the season having won each of its last three games. The game wrapped up the Wolverines two-game homestand.

"We had a number of players who got double figures and we were victorious," UV head coach Dick Hunsaker said. "I feel good about the way we have played to this point. We have to carry this type of play to our Mid-Major opponents."

UV was led by Ryan Toolson's 22 points while Jordan Brady scored 14 and pulled down a team-high eight rebounds. Jabir Jinna provided a spark off the bench, scoring 15 on perfect 4-of-4 three-point shooting in 13 minutes. In all, 12 UV players saw action including 10 who logged double-figures in minutes.

Utah Valley finished the half on an 18-4 run behind hot shooting from Toolson and Jinna. A Matt Komenda foul shot with 30 seconds remaining in the half gave the Wolverines a 41-25 advantage at the break.

Toolson led UV with 11 points at the halftime break while Cory Brothers led the Argos with 13 points, including four three-pointers.

The Wolverines started the second half on an 11-2 run capped by a Josh Olsen three-pointer to give UV a 52-28 advantage with 12:54 left in the game. Utah Valley outscored Great Falls 45-32 in the second half.
