OREM, Utah -- The Utah Valley University women's volleyball team (2-4) will make the trip to Boise, Idaho, Tuesday evening looking to extend its winning streak to three. Later in the week, UVU will travel to Tempe, Ariz., to participate in the Arizona State Sheraton Invitational. There, the Wolverines will play UC Riverside (Fri. at 11 a.m.), host Arizona State (Fri. at 8 p.m.) and High Point (Sat. at 11 a.m.).

Boise State will enter Tuesday's match with UVU with a 4-2 win-loss record. The Broncos are coming off of a 2-1 week last week just as UVU is. During that stretch BSU defeated Gonzaga and Portland State before falling to the No. 8 Washington Huskies. All three matches were played in Boise. Offensively the Broncos are led by Alisha Young (87 kills), Sadie Maughan (56 kills) and Fiona Jones (56 kills).

UC Riverside will enter play against UVU on Friday searching for its first win of the year as it holds an 0-6 record. The Highlanders losses have come by the hands of Fresno State, No. 20 Oregon, Santa Clara, San Jose State, No. 14 UCLA and Saint Mary's.

Arizona State has a 2-4 record on the year. The Sun Devils victories have come over VCU and Seattle University while their losses have been against Western Michigan, Dayton, San Diego State and Utah State. ASU is led offensively by Sarah Reaves and Ashley Kastl who have 86 and 66 kills respectively.

It will be the first all-time meeting between UVU and High Point this season. HPU is 2-5 on the year and has dropped five in a row. The Panthers are led by Megan Smith who has 97 kills on the year and is averaging 3.59 kills per set. Audie Gonzalez is second on the team in kills with 62.

The Wolverines have won two matches in a row and our coming off of a good week where they went 2-1 overall. This week, UVU will be looking to add to its win-streak as it hopes to maintain the momentum it sustained in its wins over Air Force and Fresno State at home. Senior Kayli Doxey had a big week last week for UVU as she had double-doubles in kills and digs in both of the Wolverines' victories.
