Final Results 
KAYSVILLE, Utah -- The Utah Valley University women's golf team opened the 2011 fall season with a third place finish at the Wildcat Invitational at Davis Park Golf Course on Friday. Host Weber State won the team title by shooting a tournament-record 295.
The Wolverines were led by Haley Dunn, a freshman from Layton, who shot 5-over-par 76 and tied for sixth in her first collegiate tournament. Celeste Gish tied for eighth after shooting 78.
UVU finished with a team score of 316, one shot back of Southern Utah and six in front of Idaho State. Southern Utah's Monica Jung shot a one-under-par 70 to earn the medalist award.
All nine Wolverine golfers competed on Friday. Among those playing for a team score, Jordyn Dougal tied for 11th, Lynn-Marie Nagel tied for 15th and Brooke Bliss finished in 22nd.
Four UVU players competed as individuals; Hannah Herman (t-13), Morgan Workman (t-23), Heather Mathison (t-29) and Clarissa Reid (t-30).
Up next for the Wolverines will be the Circling Raven Collegiate hosted by Gonzaga at Circling Raven Resort in Worley, Idaho on Sept. 12-13.
