WOLVERINES DRAW 15TH-RANKED REDHAWKS IN WAC TITLE MATCH
With the WAC's automatic bid on the line, Utah Valley University men's soccer is set to face conference regular season champion, No. 15, Seattle U on Sunday at 1 p.m. CT/noon MT at Durwood Soccer Stadium in Kansas City.

The No. 2 seed Wolverines (14-5-1) got to the final by virtue of their 1-0 shutout of third-seeded UNLV. Skyler Milne scored on a header in the 66th minute for the game's only goal, his team-high ninth of the season. The goal came on a corner kick from Aaron Meyer, who picked up his WAC-leading 12th assist, which also ranks second in the country.

The Redhawks (17-3-0) routed CSU Bakersfield, 4-0, in the their semifinal match and have now won eight straight and 15 of their last 16.

"Seattle is unquestionably one of the more talented and balanced teams in college soccer this year, and it will take a complete performance on our part to garner a result," head coach Greg Maas said. "To have reached the WAC Tournament Championship in just our second year as a program is truly remarkable. I couldn't be more proud of our team and the effort by everyone involved both on and off of the field this season."

Seattle U owns the No. 9 rated RPI in the country and sits among the teams that could receive a first-round bye in the NCAA Tournament, which is slated to begin next Thursday, Nov. 19. The Wolverines were ranked No. 41 in the RPI in the latest official NCAA release. 48 teams qualify for the tournament in men's soccer.
