OREM, Utah—The Utah Valley University men's basketball team plays the second game of a five-game road stretch on Saturday as the Wolverines travel to San Antonio, Texas to take on Conference USA foe UTSA. Tip-off is set for 4 p.m. MT / 5 p.m. CT.

Utah Valley (4-6) looks to pick up its third-straight win of the season as it heads into Saturday's matchup against the Roadrunners. The Wolverines hold a 1-3 record on the road this season.

The Wolverines most recently won a 100-76 decision at Idaho State on Dec. 12—the team's first road victory of the year. Konner Frey scored 19 points and Hayden Schenck added a career-high 18 points to lead four other Wolverines in double figures. Marcel Davis, Jaden Jackson and Ivory Young each tallied 14 points in the win. The 14 points marks a career high for Young. Dayon Goodman was also in double digits with 11 points. Utah Valley shot a season-best 51.9 percent from the field, including a season-best 12 three-point field goals—the fifth most threes ever scored in a single game in UVU history.

Frey continues to lead Utah Valley in both scoring and rebounding this season at 16.5 points and 7.7 rebounds per game. Jackson and Davis also average double figures at 11.9 and 11.8 points per game, respectively.

UTSA enters Saturday's game with a 2-9 overall record. The 'Runners opened the season with four straight road games and a pair of neutral site contests. UTSA picked up its first Convocation Center win with a 75-61 win over East Central on Dec. 16. The Roadrunners are 2-1 at home this season.

In the win over East Central on Wednesday, junior center Lucas O'Brien tied a career high with 12 points to lead five players in double figures. O'Brien hit 5-of-7 shots from the field and pulled down seven rebounds. The win snapped a six-game losing streak for the 'Runners. UTSA shot 45.2 percent from the floor in the win over East Central and pulled down a season-high 46 rebounds.

Senior guard Ryan Bowie leads the team in scoring and rebounding at 18.2 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. Junior guard J.R. Harris also averages double figures at 11.0 points a contest.

Saturday's meeting with the Roadrunners marks the first-ever matchup between the two schools. The Wolverines are 1-1 all-time against teams from Conference USA as the Wolverines split a home-and-home series with FIU during the 2010-11 season.

Saturday night's game will tip of at 4 p.m. MT / 5 p.m. CT and will be broadcast live on ESPN 960 AM radio with Jim McCulloch handling the play-by-play duties.
