OPENING TIPThe Wolverines will host Utah State in the PE Building at 7 p.m. MT, and travel to Ogden to see the Wildcats in the Dee Events Center at 2 p.m. MT.

Utah Valley enters the weekend after dropping the last three contests on the road to Alabama (67-60), Eastern Washington (68-64) and Oregon (79-68). Two Wolverines are averaging in double-digits, with
Rhaiah Spooner-Knight leading the way at 14.4 points per game. She is followed by sophomore
Mariah Seals with 13.2 points per game. Spooner-Knight is on a four game streak scoring in double digits, most recently pacing the Wolverines with 23 points against Oregon.

"This is a big week for us to come back home against two in-state opponents who are having good years," head coach
Cathy Nixon said. "Utah State defeated us last year, and we need to play well against them before we go on the road against Weber State, which will be a challenge for us. We need to play sharp for both games."
Utah Valley is receiving votes in the College Insider Mid-Major Poll for the second straight week, earning 21 points as of Dec. 8.

SCOUTING THE AGGIES
 The Aggies lead the all-time series 6-3, with the last contest being Nov. 20, 2014 in Logan. The Aggies are 3-4 overall, and 0-3 on the road this season. The Aggies most recently fell at Idaho State 81-67 on Tuesday evening.
Utah State is led by Funda Nakkasoglu averaging 21.1 points per game. Rachel Brewster is also scoring in double digits with 10.4 points per game. Anna Policicchio leads the Wildcats on the boards with 5.4 rebounds per game.

TRAVELING TO WILDCAT COUNTRYÂ Weber State is on a four-game winning streak, picking up wins last weekend over Stephen F. Austin (56-46) and North Texas (45-38) at the North Texas Tournament. Â The Wildcats are 6-1 overall, dropping their only contest to Charleston at home. The Wildcats have two scoring in double digits, with Kailie Quinn leading the wat with 12.6 points per game, and Regina Okoye right behind with 11.7 points per game.

Utah Valley leads the Wildcats 6-4 overall, and won the last contest on Nov. 22, 2014 61-40.
