OREM, Utah—Continuing a three game road stretch, the Utah Valley University women's basketball team will see New Mexico State on Thursday Feb. 19 at the Pan American Center at 7 p.m. MT and Texas-Pan American on Saturday Feb. 21 at 2 p.m. MT in the UTPA Fieldhouse.
Utah Valley (9-15, 3-6 WAC) enters the contests following a 60-50 loss at Grand Canyon on Saturday. Prior to the defeat, the Wolverines won two against league favorite Bakersfield 70-58 and Seattle U 73-42 at home.

WAC leader New Mexico State (16-7, 9-1 WAC) was handed its first conference defeat Saturday when Bakersfield took down the Aggies 82-78, snapping a 12 game winning streak.
The Aggies are led by junior guard Sasha Weber averaging 14.3 points per contest. Teammate Shanice Davis is close behind with 13.8 points per game. Davis also carries the Aggies with 4.2 assists per game.
Utah Valley dropped to 3-2 all-time against New Mexico State when the Aggies defeated the Wolverines 68-58 in Orem in the first round of WAC play.
"This is a road trip we have been looking forward too," said head coach
Cathy Nixon. "We have a chance to measure ourselves against the best teams in the conference and our goal is to be competitive with these teams."
Texas-Pan American (15-11, 7-3 WAC) will host Grand Canyon on Thursday Feb. 19 before the Broncs host the Wolverines on Saturday. The Broncs have won their last two, grabbing a 54-53 win at home against the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a 70-60 win at Seattle U on Saturday.
Sophomore Guard Shawnte Goff leads UTPA with 15.4 points per game as well as in steals with 1.9 per game. Brittany Bush leads the Broncs on the boards with 6.3 per contest while T'Ondria Nolen is averaging 4.2 steals per game.
The Wolverines have hung unto a 12-9 lead all-time in the series, however, the Broncs have won the last three meetings, the last being Jan. 22 in Orem 59-52.
Both games will be broadcast live on the WAC Digital Network, while the contest against New Mexico State will be broadcast live on ESPN3. Live stats will also be available. The game will also be aired live on FOX Sports Arizona-Plus, Altitude Sports and FOX College Sports Pacific, and will also be replayed later that night on FOX Sports Southwest and FOX Sports New Orleans.
