SEASON ON THE LINE IN HOME FINALE
Utah Valley University enters its final regular season contest with the season on the line as the Wolverines host No. 23 Seattle U on Saturday night at 7 p.m. MT at Clyde Field in Orem. The game will air live on UVU TV and on the WAC Digital Network. The Redhawks are the fourth ranked opponent for the Wolverines this season.

WAC TOURNAMENT SCENARIOS
No. 14 Air Force clinched its first WAC regular season title last weekend, and will be the top seed and have a bye in the opening round of the tournament. Seattle U and host UNLV have also secured bids with four spots open to seven of the eight remaining teams. Entering the final week of play, UVU is on the outside looking in and needs a win to get into the picture. CSU Bakersfield and San José State play on Friday (2 p.m. MT) and, barring a draw, the Wolverines will control their own destiny going into Saturday's match.

Should CSUB and SJSU draw, UVU would also need Incarnate Word to win or draw at home against UT Rio Grande Valley (Saturday, 6 p.m. MT) as nearly every tiebreaker scenario goes against the Wolverines. Another favorable scenario would have UNLV winning at Grand Canyon (Saturday, 8 p.m. MT), which would also put Utah Valley in with a win on Saturday. In the other WAC game, Air Force travels to UMKC, with the 'Roos needing an upset win and help from others to keep their tournament hopes alive.

MAAS ON SEATTLE U AND SENIOR NIGHT
"Saturday's match with Seattle will be special on many levels. None more important than recognizing our first four-year graduating class of players on Senior Night, each who have played an instrumental and historical role in building this program, said UVU head coach Greg Maas. "We've been playing tremendous soccer down the stretch, and with everything on the line, I am looking forward to watching this team put everything they have into their final home match on Clyde Field in front of their families, friends and our 12th Wolverines."

SERIES HISTORY
Seattle U is the only WAC team that Utah Valley is not .500 or better against during their series history. The Wolverines are 0-3-2 all-time against the Redhawks, including 0-1-1 at Clyde Field. SU defeated UVU, 2-0, last season in Seattle. The teams also met in the 2015 WAC Tournament final, with the game ending in a draw but Seattle U securing the title on penalty kicks.

LAST TIME OUT
Utah Valley notched a big win at UNLV last Friday, 3-2, taking a three-nil lead before the Rebels made it interesting in the final minutes. Blake Frischknecht, Karson Payton and Paul Hoffmeister each scored for UVU, with Hoffmeister's goal the 21st of his career, setting a new school record.

On Sunday night, the Wolverines lost an overtime heartbreaker, 3-2, at Grand Canyon. Payton scored for the second time in as many games and Chandler Baddley notched his first career goal with the equalizer in the 90th minute of play to force extra time.

ABOUT SEATTLE U
Seattle U (11-3-3, 5-1-3) will be either the No. 2 or No. 3 seed in next week's WAC Tournament quarterfinals on Wednesday in Las Vegas. The Redhawks drew with Grand Canyon last Friday before falling in overtime at UNLV two days later. It was their first and only loss in WAC play.

SENIOR NIGHT
Saturday's game also marks Senior Night for the seven Wolverines playing in their final home match. Seniors Chandler Baddley, Joe Barakat, Nic Harguindeguy, Paul Hoffmeister, Karson Payton, Connor Salmon, and Giovanny Vazquez will all be honored prior to the match.
