ABOUT THE COUGARS
BYU saw its four-game winning streak snapped on Tuesday at Southern Utah, a 67-64 defeat to the T-Birds in Cedar City. Shaylee Gonzales leads the team with 16.0 points per game and has come off the bench each game so far this season. BYU leads the all-time series 8-0.
THE WEEK THAT WAS
Utah Valley moved to 4-1 with a 76-68 win over 22nd-ranked (NAIA) Arizona Christian the day before Thanksgiving last week.
Jordan Holland scored her career-high 21 on 10-for-17 from the field and the Wolverines turned the ball over a season-best 13 times.Â

The Wolverines will play their first road game on Saturday at Utah at 5:30 p.m. MT. That starts a string of four straight road contests. UVU will play at Southern Utah next Tuesday, and at Idaho State next Thursday, Dec. 6.Â
