WOLVERINES HOST SEATTLE U ON SATURDAY NIGHT AT UCCU CENTER
After three straight games on the road, Utah Valley returns to Orem for a three-game home stand. The Wolverines open the home stand on Saturday against Seattle U at the UCCU Center. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. (MST)
Utah Valley holds the nation's third-longest active home win streak in the nation at 20 games. The Wolverines sit all alone in third behind Houston (28) and Charleston (22). Nebraska is fourth at 19 games, while Buffalo and Murray State are tied for fifth at 18 games in a row.
Utah Valley has won 10 of its last 14 games, including five of its last seven. The Wolverines opened WAC play last week with a pair of road losses, falling 71-60 at Grand Canyon before dropping a 73-71 buzzer-beating heartbreaker at CSU Bakersfield. In the loss at CSUB on Saturday,
Connor MacDougall led two other Wolverines in double figures with 14 points.
Conner Toolson scored 13, while
Isaiah White helped with 10. The Wolverines had possession of the ball with 4.3 seconds remaining but were unable to inbound the ball. CSUB took advantage and knocked down a putback shot at the buzzer to defeat the Wolverines, 73-71.
Utah Valley closed out non-league play on Dec. 29 with one of its best wins of the season in a 64-60 victory at Fresno State. The Bulldogs were ranked No. 65 in the KenPom.com rankings at the time of UVU's win. Prior to the win at Fresno State, Weber State (164) was the highest ranked win of the season for the Wolverines and for the WAC. The win helped UVU wrap up non-league play with an 11-4 record.
Jake Toolson leads Utah Valley in scoring at 15.1 points per game, followed closely behind by
Conner Toolson at 13.6 points a contest. The Toolson duo has scored nearly 40 percent of UVU's points this season. Jake has been impressive from the floor, shooting 57.1 percent (93-of-163), including a team-best 47.7 percent (31-of-65) clip from three-point range.
Baylee Steele leads UVU on the boards, pulling down 7.1 rebounds a game, while
TJ Washington leads the team in assists at 4.0 a game.
Utah Valley ranks in the top-50 in three statistical team categories and two individual categories. The Wolverines rank 28th in the nation in total rebounds with 620. The team also ranks 39th nationally in defensive rebounds per game at 28.18 and 48th in field goal percentage at 47.9 percent. Individually, UVU's
Jake Toolson holds the highest ranking as he is 25th in total minutes at 569:38. He also ranks 48th in field goal percentage at a 57.1 percent mark.

Saturday's game against Seattle U will be broadcast live on the WAC Digital Network (WACdigitalNetwork.com). UVU has also entered into a new partnership with KSLtv. The KSLtv app will be streaming all home UVU men's basketball games live. The game will also be streamed live through the GoUVU YouTube channel, and on the GoUVU Facebook page. Brandon Crow and Holton Hunsaker will be on the call. The game will also be broadcast over the radio waves as Jim McCulloch enters his ninth season as the radio play-by-play personality. Seattle U enters Saturday night's contest against the Wolverines with a 12-5 overall record and a 0-2 mark in WAC play. The team wraps up its WAC-opening three-game road swing at UVU on Saturday night. The Redhawks wrapped up non-conference play with a 12-2 record before opening WAC play with two losses on the road at CSU Bakersfield (83-71) and at Grand Canyon (71-57). Seattle U's entire starting lineup averages double figure scoring led by Senior guard Morgan Means at 15.5 points per game. Redshirt junior Myles Carter averages 14.5 points a contest, followed by redshirt junior guard Matej Kavas (14.1 ppg.), redshirt junior guard Delante Jones (12.6 ppg.), and redshirt sophomore guard Terrell Brown (11.3 ppg.). The Redhawks average 80.0 points per game while limiting opponents to a 69.7 points per game average. SU is coached by Jim Hayford who is in his second season with the team. He holds a 32-18 record with the Redhawks.

Utah Valley and Seattle U meet up on the basketball hardwood for the 18th time on Saturday night. The Redhawks hold an all-time 9-8 advantage in the series. Utah Valley has won three of the last four meetings, including a 73-47 victory in the two team's last meeting on March 3, 2018 in Orem. UVU HOLDS THE THIRD-LONGEST ACTIVE HOME WIN STREAK IN THE NATION, LONGEST STREAK IN UVU HISTORY
Utah Valley has won a school-record 20 straight games at home dating back to last season. The last loss at home was an 85-58 setback to BYU on Nov. 29, 2018. Since that time, the Wolverines have won 20 straight at the UCCU Center. The Wolverines won a school-record 16 games at home last season, finishing the 2017-18 campaign with a school-record 16-1 record at home, surpassing the previous record of 14-1 set by the 2006-07 team. Utah Valley has the third-longest active home win streak in the nation at 20 games. Utah Valley sits behind Houston (28) and Charleston (22). The previous UVU home win streak record was 17 games, which was set from the 2004-05 season to the 2005-06 season.
UVU RECORDS TIES BEST 15-GAME START TO A SEASON
The Wolverines wrapped up non-conference play with an 11-4 record (.733), one of the best non-league marks in school history. The 11-4 record matches the 15-game start to the 2003-04 team, but that team did not play a full Division I schedule and did not yet have a conference to play in. The 11-4 record also matches last year's 15-game start to a season (11-4). Last year's team entered WAC play with an 11-5 record (.687).
THREE-POINT STREAKING
Utah Valley has now hit a three-point field goal in 124 straight games. The last time UVU played in a game without hitting a shot from beyond the arc was on Feb. 27, 2014 against New Mexico State.
THIRD-BEST NCAA RATING IN THE WAC
As of Jan. 10, Utah Valley's NCAA net rating is 141 according to NCAAsports.com. UVU sits a spot ahead of Jacksonville State at 142 and two spots ahead of Stanford at 143. The Wolverines have one of the best non-conference NCAA net rating wins of the season with its victory over No. 63 Fresno State. The Wolverines hold the third-best net rating in the WAC as the team sits behind New Mexico State (107) and Grand Canyon (115). CONNER TOOLSON BECOMES EIGHTH PLAYER IN UVU HISTORY TO SCORE 1,000 CAREER POINTS
Conner Toolson knocked down a shot from long range with 14:38 remaining in the second half against Sam Houston State on Dec. 22 to lift his career point total to 1,002 points as he became just the eighth player in UVU history to score 1,000 career points. Toolson scored 18 points on the night to up his career total to 1,007. He now has 1,034 points.
JAKE TOOLSON'S RECORDS TWO PERFECT GAMES THIS SEASON

Jake Toolson has recorded a pair of perfect shooting performances this season. Toolson knocked down a perfect 8-of-8 shots from the field, including a perfect 2-of-2 from three-point range, along with a perfect 2-of-2 shots from the free throw line as he scored 20 points in an 87-72 win over Long Beach State in the championship game of the MGM Main Event in Las Vegas on Nov. 21. Toolson also connected on a perfect 6-of-6 shooting from the field, including a 2-of-2 mark from long range. He also hit a perfect 6-of-6 shots at the free throw line as he finished with 20 points in an 85-79 win over Sam Houston State on Dec. 22.

Connor MacDougall had the best single game shooting performance in UVU history against Idaho State on Dec. 19 as he knocked down a perfect 12-of-12 shots from the floor. The 12-for-12 shooting overtakes Mitch Bruneel and
Jake Toolson who previously held the field goal mark in an 8-for-8 performances. MacDougall's mark is the second-best shooting performance in the country behind only Levi Bradley of Northern Illinois, who made a perfect 13-of-13 shots against Oakland on Nov. 25. MacDougall's perfect night ties him for the best single-game field goal percentage mark in UVU history with Bruneel and Toolson.
UVU RECORDS THIRD-BEST THREE-POINT SHOOTING PERFORMANCE IN SCHOOL HISTORY -- 14TH-BEST SINGLE-GAME PERFORMANCE IN NATION THIS SEASON
Utah Valley connected on 62.5 percent of its threes in a 98-78 win at Northern Arizona on Dec. 8 in Flagstaff. The Wolverines knocked down 15-of-24 shots from beyond the arc. The 62.5 percent shooting is the third-best three-point shooting percentage in school history and the 14th-best three-point shooting performance in the nation this season. The three-point shooting performance at NAU is tied for the 14th-best shooting percentage mark in the nation this season. UVU shot 66.7 percent twice in wins over Haskell (1/4/11) and against UTRGV (3/13/14). The 15 threes is tied for the fourth-best total in UVU history. The Wolverines knocked down a school-record 18 threes in a win at BYU (11/26/16) two seasons ago.
CONNER TOOLSON MOVES UP TO SECOND ON CAREER ASSISTS CHART, THIRD ON CAREER THREES LIST
Conner Toolson is now all alone in second on the all-time UVU steals list with 115 take aways. He is now just 42 steals away from tying Holton Hunsaker (2010-14) for the top spot on the steals chart. He is tied for third on the made threes list with 166 and is now 70 three-pointers away from tying Holton Hunsaker (2010-14) for second on that chart.
