OREM, Utah -- The Utah Valley University men's soccer team earned the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award on Thursday, for its performance in the classroom during the 2018-19 academic year. The award is granted to college teams that post a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

The Wolverines are one of eight men's soccer programs from the Western Athletic Conference to receive the honor. UVU finished with a 3.30 GPA as a team during 2018-19 school year. Utah Valley University was one of 255 schools to have both the men's and women's teams recognized across all of NCAA, NAIA, NCCAA and junior college athletics.
