• Utah Valley University begins a two-game road swing on Thursday night in a 7:30 p.m. PT/8:30 p.m. MT tip at UC Riverside. The game can be seen live by visiting BigWest.TV.
• The Wolverines (0-3) are coming off of a narrow loss to Nevada last Saturday in the UCCU Center. UVU trailed by 10 entering the final quarter and closed to within a point, but could not find the game-tying bucket in the closing seconds. 
• Jordan Holland scored 13 points on 4-for-7 from the field for Utah Valley while Megan Jensen established a career high with 12 points on 6-for-11 shooting.
• UC Riverside leads the all-time series against Utah Valley, 2-1, including a 1-0 record in Riverside. The Wolverines won the most recent contest, 56-53, last season in Orem. 
• During the month of December, Utah Valley won't leave the state for any games. Four of the six contests on the schedule are home games and the two road games are at BYU and at Weber State.

ABOUT THE HIGHLANDERS
UC Riverside (1-4) but has played four of its five contests away from SRC Arena in Riverside. The Highlanders' lone win came against WAC preseason favorite New Mexico State, 60-58, in Las Cruces. UCR has lost three straight including its only home game against Pac 12 USC on Nov. 14 (76-59). The Highlanders most recently played at Pac 12 California, falling 84-61. Marina Edowo leads three players scoring in double figures with 12.8 points per game. Jannon Otto is scoring 12.0 points per contest while Daphne Gnago is averagine 10.2 points and 7.2 rebounds. 

COMING UP
Utah Valley play at Mountain West Champion Boise State next Tuesday, Nov. 26 before returning home for a Saturday afternoon contest on Nov. 30 against Antelope Valley. Following Tuesday's game in Boise, UVU will play three straight at home.
