OPENING TIP
- Utah Valley University wraps up a three-game homestand on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. MT against the University of Montana in Lockhart Arena.
- The Wolverines (1-6) have split the first two games of the current homestand, defeating Antelope Valley 77-61 before falling to Idaho State, 88-61.
- The Lady Griz (3-3) are the second straight and the third of four Big Sky Conference opponents on Utah Valley's schedule this season.
- In UVU's loss to Idaho State on Tuesday, Nehaa Sohil came off the bench to score a career-high 12 points while the trio of Eve Braslis, Megan Jensen and Josie Williams each scored eight points.

ABOUT THE GRIZZLIES
Montana is coming off of a 71-69 road win at Cal State Fullerton last Saturday. The Lady Griz went 1-1 the Titan Classic, played in Fullerton, last week. Montana also owns a 72-67 win over Utah Valley WAC foe Grand Canyon University. Redshirt senior McKenzie Johnson is averaging 13.3 points to lead the Lady Griz. Utah Valley is 0-2 all-time against Montana with both games coming in Missoula. The teams haven't met since 2014, a 68-44 Lady Griz win.
COMING UP
Utah Valley will play just once next week, at BYU on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 2 p.m. MT. The following Tuesday the Wolverines will play at Weber State.
