OREM, Utah – Skyridge High School product Ally Blackham has signed a National Letter of Intent with Utah Valley University, women's basketball head coach Dan Nielson announced on Wednesday.
 
Blackham is a 5-foot-8-inch guard entering her senior season at Skyridge, where she averaged 15.3 points, 4.1 assists and 3.4 steals per game and was named first-team All-State as a junior.

"We are thrilled we were able to keep Ally close to home and add her to program," said Nielson. "She is a very athletic guard that can get to the rim and really shoot the three. Her energy on defense is contagious and will fit right in with our defensive approach. We can't wait to get her on campus."
 
Blackham ranked among the 6A leaders in points (2nd), steals (2nd) and assists (3rd) during the 2019-20 season and was also named to the All-Tournament Team after helping her team to a semifinal berth at the Utah State Tournament. She is a three-time All-Region selection and was also second-team All-State as a sophomore. She plays club basketball with the Natalie Williams Basketball Academy.
