OREM—Utah Valley graduate forward Evan Cole has been named the College Sports Madness WAC Player of the Week for his play in a road game at Utah last Tuesday.
 
Cole scored a career-high 31 points and matched a career-high with 10 rebounds for his first double-double since 2018. The Atlanta, Georgia native also knocked down a career-high 12 of 16 shots from the floor, including a make from long range. He also made a career-high 6 of 8 free throws and tallied three blocks.
 
Utah Valley returns to the floor on Tuesday, Dec. 29 against San Diego Christian at the UCCU Center. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m.
