Fresh off a pair of wins over CSU Bakersfield and Grand Canyon at home last week, Utah Valley travels to Riverside for its final road game of the season on Wednesday night against California Baptist. The game will tip-off at 8 p.m. (MT) and will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

Utah Valley swept a pair of games at home last week against CSU Bakersfield and Grand Canyon. It marks the first time since Jan. 2 that the team has won back-to-back games. It is the first time this season that the Wolverines have won back-to-back games during WAC play.

Brandon Averette led four other Wolverines in double figures with career-high 23 points to help lead Utah Valley to an 92-80 win over Grand Canyon on Saturday afternoon in front of a season-high 5,236 fans at the UCCU Center. With the win, Utah Valley completes the two-game regular season sweep over the 'Lopes for the first time since 2014.

TJ Washington dished out a career-high 13 assists in the win over Grand Canyon on Saturday night, marking his sixth straight game with five or more assists. The 13 assists are the second most ever recorded in a single game in UVU history. During WAC play, Washington ranks second in the league in assists per game at 5.9.

Emmanuel Olojakpoke became UVU's single season record holder in total blocks on Feb. 20 in a win over CSU Bakersfield. Olojakpoke currently has 74 blocks this season.

As of Feb. 24, Utah Valley ranks 11th in the nation in total blocks with 145 swats. The Wolverines also rank 13th nationally in blocks per game at 5.2 a contest. Individually, Emmanuel Olojakpoke is ranked tied for eighth nationally with 74 blocks. He also ranks 13th in blocks per game at 2.64.

Mark Madsen enters his first season as the head coach of the Wolverines. The two-time NBA champion, former Los Angeles Lakers assistant coach, and former Stanford University basketball star makes his debut season as a head coach. He is just the third head coach in UVU's Division I history. Madsen takes over the Utah Valley program after serving the past six seasons as an assistant coach for the Los Angeles Lakers. He was a two-time NBA champion as a player with the Lakers (2001 and 2002), and he played for the Minnesota Timberwolves for six seasons.
