OREM-After helping Alba Berlin to a German League championship and German Cup title this past season, former Utah Valley University basketball player Kenneth Ogbe will continue his professional career in Germany as he has signed a two-year contract with Brose Bramberg.

Ogbe, who played his junior and senior seasons (2016-18) at Utah Valley, scored 326 points over two seasons for Alba Berlin (2018-20). The guard/forward averaged 4.4 points and 2.0 rebounds in the Bundesliga and 2.4 points and 1.2 rebounds in EuroLeague play. He averaged just under 10 points a game during Alba Berlin's tournament title run.

"With his length and athleticism, Kenneth is very important to our defense," said Brose Bamberg head coach Johan Roijakkers. "He'll definitely get more play with us than he's had in recent years. Therefore, he will be able to show himself more aggressively with us and play a large and important role."

Ogbe was a first team all-WAC honoree after leading Utah Valley to 23 wins during his senior season (2017-18). He led the Wolverines in scoring, averaging 13.7 points per game. The Munich, Germany native led UVU with a 42.9 percent clip from beyond the arc as he knocked down 67-of-21 threes. He also averaged 3.2 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 0.8 steals per game. Ogbe led the Wolverines to a pair of College Basketball Invitational appearances.

In his two seasons at Utah Valley, Ogbe scored 802 points, which ranks 10
th on UVU's all-time scoring list. He also recorded a career three-point mark of 41.9 percent, which is the second-best career mark in UVU history. Ogbe earned a master's of business administration while at Utah Valley.

Kenneth and his wife, Jordyn, are expecting their first child in November.
