OGDEN, Utah - The Utah Valley men's and women's track and field teams competed over the weekend in the Weber State Indoor Invitational, finishing with a new school record and some additional personal records.
Andre Jones etched his name in the Wolverine record books in the 55m hurdles.
"It was a smaller meet but all in all, it was a great meet for us," said Utah Valley head track and field coach

Andre Jones setting a school record in the hurdles was a big stand out for us, along with a few personal bests so it was a great meet for us."
Jones finished the 55m hurdles in a UVU-best 7.46, setting a new personal record for the senior. Sophomore
Hannah Sobel competed in the 55m hurdles, finishing with a personal-best time of 8.54. With her personal best, she moved into seventh all-time in school history.
Junior
Emma Aldred also finished with a new personal record, completing the race with a time of 8.64. Sophomore
Jordan Daw moved into the Wolverine top 10 in the 55m, setting a new personal record with a time of 6.49, good enough for ninth all time.
The Wolverines return to Provo for the BYU Cougar II Invitational on Feb. 4-6. The third round of the BYU Cougar Invitational will be Feb. 18-20 in Provo.
