OREM—Utah Valley head coach Chris Lemay has announced that Delta College standout Faith Webber has signed with UVU and will play for the Wolverines in 2022. Webber will join UVU in January after she wraps up her fall season at Delta College.
 
"We expect that Faith will have a massive impact on our program the second she arrives on campus and laces up her boots," said Lemay. "She is a natural scorer that is composed in and around the box and has a ton of tools to finish opportunities. In our game, players that can score and score consistently at the highest level can change the results of a match. Faith is that player and we couldn't be happier that she has chosen to be a UVU Wolverine."
 
Webber, a 5-foot-8 forward from Grand Blanc, Michigan, played her freshman season at Delta College in University Center, Michigan. Webber led the team to a perfect 12-0 record last season and a NJCAA DIII National Championship. She led the nation in goals, assists, and points. She recorded 24 goals and 12 assists for 60 points in just 12 matches. Webber was named MVP of the national championship after scoring six goals with three assists over three matches. She also earned All-American and All-League honors last year.
 
"My decision to go to Utah Valley had a lot to do with the awesome people and beautiful campus, don't get me wrong," said Webber. "They're the best. However, I'm so excited about being a part of such an awesome program. UVU is on the rise and I'm confident after my three years that we will have grown to a nationally recognized and highly respected program by all schools. Having the opportunity to make history and put my own stamp on the program is so sweet. Let's go UVU!!"
 
Webber prepped at Grand Blanc High School where she scored 30 goals as a freshman and 28 more as a sophomore before leaving the program. She earned all-state honors and led GBHS to multiple DI MHSAA soccer finals. Webber also played for the National Girls Academy from 2020-19.
 
Webber will compete for Delta College this fall before joining the Wolverines in January. She will begin competing for UVU in the fall of 2022. She will have three years of eligibility remaining.
