OREM, Utah — Utah Valley University continues its early season four-game road swing with two contests this week, starting Wednesday at UNLV in Las Vegas. The Wolverines and Lady Rebels are set to tip off at 4 p.m. PT/5 p.m. MT from Cox Pavilion.
The Wolverines (1-1) also play at Weber State in the second of three in-state non-conference road games this season. The current road stretch concludes on Nov. 26 at Portland State with UVU returning to the UCCU Center on Dec. 1 against St. Thomas.
Through the first two games,
Shay Fano leads the Wolverines with an average of 10.5 points and shares the team lead in rebounding at 6.0, with
Jaeden Brown.
Eleyana Tafisi is averaging 4.5 assists and 2.5 steals so far this season as well.

UNLV moved to 2-0 after defeating Oral Roberts, 100-84, last Friday night behind 27 points from Nneka Obiazor. The Lady Rebels won the only prior meeting against UVU, 73-63, last season in Orem. UNLV is averaging 90.0 points per game so far after being picked to repeat as the Mountain West Champions. The Lady Rebels return the majority of their squad that won 26 games and swept both MW titles last year.
ABOUT WEBER STATE
Saturday's game at Weber State is the first meeting between the programs since 2019. The Wildcats are 0-1 entering a Wednesday contest at Omaha after dropping a 63-52 game at Boise State to open the season on Nov. 13. Weber State is 8-7 all-time against Utah Valley, including 6-2 in Ogden.
