Utah Valley travels to play Oregon on Tuesday night

UTAH VALLEY WRAPS UP NON-CONFERENCE PLAY AT OREGON ON TUESDAY NIGHT
  • Utah Valley will wrap up non-conference play on the road as the team travels to Eugene, Oregon to take on Pac-12 foe Oregon on Tuesday night at Matthew Knight Arena. Tip-off is set for 8:30 p.m. (MST).
     
  • Trey Woodbury scored a game-high 17 points with eight rebounds and five assists to lead Utah Valley to an 80-54 win over Antelope Valley on Friday night at the UCCU Center. Woodbury scored his game-high 17 points on a 5 of 11 clip from the field, including a 3 of 6 mark from long range. He also knocked down 4 of 6 shots at the free throw line. Woodbury matched a career high with eight assists to go along with five rebounds and two steals.
     
  • With its win over Antelope Valley on Friday night, Utah Valley extended its win streak to five games and its home win streak to eight games. Utah Valley has won 12 of its last 13 games at the UCCU Center. The team's last loss at home was to Grand Canyon on Feb. 10, 2022.
     
  • Utah Valley head coach Mark Madsen picked up his 50th career victory in the team's 80-54 win over Antelope Valley on Friday night.
     
  • Utah Valley has played three overtime games this season, all on the road. The Wolverines dropped a 68-65 decision at Wake Forest on a last second shot from three. UVU fell 73-72 to Morgan State in Jamaica. UVU then picked up an 80-75 overtime win at Northern Arizona.
     
  • Aziz Bandaogo ranks in the top-20 nationally in six statistical categories. He ranks sixth in the country in total rebounds (125), seventh in double doubles (6), eighth in blocks (30), 10th in rebounds per game (10.4), and 15th in defensive rebounds per game (7.3).  As a team, UVU ranks sixth in the country in blocks per game at 6.1 swats a contest and 10th in defensive rebounds per game (29.5).

BROADCAST INFORMATION
Tuesday night's game at Oregon will be broadcast live on the Pac-12 Network, which is available on the Pac-12 Network station, Pac-12.com, and the Pac-12 app. Rich Burk and Eldridge Recasner will be on the call for the game. The game will also be broadcast over the Utah County airwaves on ESPN 960 AM with Jim McCulloch on the call.

ABOUT OREGON
Oregon enters Tuesday night's contest against the Wolverines with a 7-5 overall record. The team has won three straight and five of its last six games. The Ducks defeated Portland 78-56 on Saturday night at home. Senior guard Rivaldo Soares led two other Ducks in double figures with 16 points in the win over the Pilots. Sophomore guard Brennan Rigsby scored 14 points and senior guard Will Richardson added 12. Richardson leads the team in scoring this season at 14.2 points a game. N'Faly Dante and Quincy Guerrier also average double figures at 12.8 and 10.7 points a game, respectively. Dante leads the Ducks on the boards, pulling down 5.9 rebounds a game. Richardson ranks 10th nationally in assists per game at 6.2 a contest. As a team, Oregon averages 69.4 points a game while limiting opponents to a 63.8 points per game average. The team ranks 27th nationally in blocks per game at 5.2 a game. 

SERIES HISTORY VS. OREGON, PAC-12 CONFERENCE
Utah Valley and Oregon will meet up on the basketball hardwood for just the second time on Tuesday night. Oregon owns a 1-0 lead in the series after picking up a 69-54 win in 2013. The Wolverines hold an all-time 3-10 record against teams from the Pac-12 Conference. UVU last defeated a Pac-12 team just last season with a 68-52 win at Washington on Dec. 21, 2021.

UTAH VALLEY EXTENDS WIN STREAK TO FIVE GAMES, HOME WIN STREAK TO EIGHT GAMES
With its 80-54 win over Antelope Valley on Friday night at the UCCU Center, Utah Valley extended its win streak to five games. The win streak dates back to an 88-78 win over Long Beach State on Dec. 3. UVU then defeated BYU, Northern Arizona, SAGU, and Antelope Valley. The win over UAV also extended UVU's home win streak to eight games. The Wolverines have not dropped a home game since falling to Grand Canyon on Feb. 10, 2022. UVU has won 12 of its last 13 games at home and 16 of its last 18.
