UTAH VALLEY HOSTS SEATTLE U ON THURSDAY NIGHT AT UCCU CENTER
	- Utah Valley will close out its home slate this week with a pair of WAC games against Seattle U on Thursday and California Baptist on Saturday. The Wolverines will take on Seattle U on Thursday at 6 p.m. before wrapping up play at the UCCU Center on Saturday at 2 p.m. against CBU.
	  
	- Utah Valley was unable to capitalize on a late lead as the Wolverines fell in overtime, 80-75, on the road at Dixie State on Saturday night at Burns Arena in St. George, Utah. UVU held a 69-62 lead with 37 seconds left in the game but was unable to pull away as DSU converted a three-point play with six seconds left to send the game to overtime. Fardaws Aimaq notched his second straight 20-20 game, and third of the season, tallying 20 points to go along with 21 rebounds and a team-high three steals. Justin Harmon led the Wolverines 23 points to go along with a season-high nine rebounds and a pair of blocks.
	  
	- With his 20-point, 21-rebound performance on Saturday night at Dixie State, Aimaq became the only player in the country with three 20/20 games this season. Aimaq is also the only player in the nation to record back-to-back 20/20 games and is the only player in the country averaging at least 19 points and 13 rebounds per game.
	  
	- Utah Valley is one of only two teams in the country this season to rank in the top-20 nationally in both three-point field goal percentage and three-point field goal percentage defense. The Wolverines rank ninth in the nation in three-point percentage defense (29.0) and 20th in three-point field goal percentage (37.9).
	  
	- Aimaq has earned multiple honors already this season. He has four WAC Player of the Week honors, two Lute Olson National Player of the Week wards, and an ESPN Player of the Week award.
	  
	- As of Feb. 22, Fardaws Big Maple Aimaq leads the nation in double-doubles (23) and defensive rebounds per game (10.50). Aimaq also ranks second in rebounds per game (13.7) and second in total rebounds (356).
	  
	- As a team, Utah Valley ranks sixth in the country in rebound margin (8.3), seventh in defensive rebounds per game (28.96), ninth in three-point field goal percentage defense (28.5), 17th in rebounds per game (40.24), and 17th in three-point field goal percentage (38.2).

Thursday night's game against Seattle U will be broadcast live on ESPN+, which is available on the ESPN app and at ESPNplus.com. Brandon Crow and Josh Kallunki will be on the call for the World Wide Leader in sports. The game will also be broadcast over the air waves in Utah County with Jim McCulloch on the call. Seattle U enters Thursday night's game with a 21-7 overall record and a 12-3 mark in WAC play. With the WAC lead in the conference standings on the line Monday night, the Redhawks dropped a 68-55 decision at home to New Mexico State, which took the lead in the WAC standings over Seattle with the win. The Redhawks had won four straight before dropping the game to the Aggies. Darrion Trammell led Seattle with 24 points, scoring 19 in the first half. Riley Grigsby was also in double figures with 10 points. The Redhawks shot just 31.3 percent and 22.6 percent from long range on Monday night. Trammell leads the team in scoring this season at 16.7 points a game. Cameron Tyson and Grigsby also average double figures at 15.2 and 12.9 points per game, respectively. Emeka Udenyi leads the team on the glass, pulling down a team-best 5.8 rebounds a game. Seattle U likes to shoot the three as the team ranks eighth in the nation in three-point field goal attempts with 816, an average of 29.14 a game. The Redhawks average 10 made threes a game, which ranks 14th nationally.
SERIES HISTORY VS. SEATTLE U
Utah Valley and Seattle U meet up on the basketball hardwood for the 24th time on Thursday night. Seattle holds a 12-11 edge in the all-time series. Seattle has won three of the last four meetings, including a 71-65 win in Seattle on Jan. 12. The Wolverines hold an all-time 6-4 advantage in the series in games played at home. Seattle U took an 87-85 win the last time the two teams met in Orem on Feb. 8, 2020.

SEATTLE, Wash. – The Wolverines were unable to overcome a late cold spell as Utah Valley dropped a heartbreaker, 71-65, on the road at Seattle U. UVU falls to 11-5 on the season, including 2-2 in WAC play. Aimaq recorded his 14th double-double, finishing with 16 points to go along with 13 rebounds. Darthard added 15 points with six rebounds. Ceaser collected matched a career high with 13 rebounds to go along with six points and three assists. Harding chipped in 13 points while Nield and McClanahan each added three assists as every Wolverine that played scored at least two points.
AIMAQ BREAKS ALL-TIME UVU SINGLE SEASON REBOUNDS RECORD
With his 21 rebounds at Dixie State on Feb. 20, 
Fardaws Aimaq surpassed Geddes Robinson as the all-time single season rebounder in UVU history. Aimaq now has a single season school-record 356 rebounds, passing Robinson who had 344 rebounds during the 2011-12 season.

20/20 CLUB
Fardaws Aimaq is the only player in the nation with three 20/20 games this season. The sophomore center recorded a 24-point, 22-rebound game in a win over then No. 12-ranked BYU at home. He then became the only player in the country to record back-to-back 20/20 games with a 20-point, 22-rebound game in a win at Tarleton (Feb. 16, 2022), followed by a 21-point, 20-rebound game in a loss at Dixie State (Feb. 19, 2022). There have only been 13 20/20 games this season and Aimaq has three of them.
