UTAH VALLEY HOSTS CALIFORNIA BAPTIST ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON IN HOME FINALE
- Utah Valley will close out its home slate with a Saturday afternoon Senior Day matchup against California Baptist. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. at the UCCU Center.

- UVU will honor its outgoing graduated players on Saturday against CBU, including Fardaws Aimaq, Connor Harding, Asa McCord, Colby Leifson, and Brock Anderson.

- Fardaws Aimaq recorded a 19-point, 18-rebound double-double and Justin Harmon added 17 points with a career-high six assists to lead Utah Valley to a 67-52 win over Seattle U on Thursday night at the UCCU Center. Trey Farrer scored nine points off the bench and Connor Harding had six points with seven assists and two blocks.

- With his 20-point, 21-rebound performance on Feb. 19 at Dixie State, Aimaq became the only player in the country with three 20/20 games this season. Aimaq is also the only player in the nation to record back-to-back 20/20 games and is the only player in the country averaging at least 19 points and 13 rebounds per game.

- Utah Valley is one of only two teams in the country this season to rank in the top-21 nationally in both three-point field goal percentage and three-point field goal percentage defense. The Wolverines rank 10th in the nation in three-point percentage defense (28.7) and 21st in three-point field goal percentage (37.9).

- Aimaq has earned multiple honors already this season. He has four WAC Player of the Week honors, two Lute Olson National Player of the Week wards, and an ESPN Player of the Week award.

- As of Feb. 22, Fardaws Big Maple Aimaq leads the nation in double-doubles (24) and defensive rebounds per game (10.78). Aimaq also ranks second in rebounds per game (13.9) and second in total rebounds (374).

- As a team, Utah Valley ranks fifth in the country in defensive rebounds per game (29.56), seventh in rebound margin (8.4), eighth in rebounds per game (40.85), 10th in three-point field goal defense (28.7), and 19th in field goal defense (39.5).

California Baptist enters Saturday's game with a 15-13 overall record. The team currently sits in 10th place in the WAC standings with a 5-10 record. CBU has dropped two of its last three games with losses to Grand Canyon and Seattle U, and a 71-61 road win at Dixie State on Thursday night. Taran Armstrong and Ty Rowell each scored 18 points to lead the Lancers past the Trailblazers on Thursday. Rowell became CBU's all-time career leader in three-point field goals in the win over Dixie State as he now has 232. Dan Akin leads the Lancers in scoring at 12.1 points a game. Armstrong, Rowell, and Reed Nottage also average double figure scoring at 11.8, 11.6, and 10.2 points per game. Akin also fronts the team on the boards, pulling down 8.5 rebounds a game and in blocks with 33 this season. As a team, CBU is averaging a WAC-best 16.6 assists per game. The team averages 72.6 points per game while limiting opponents to a 67.6 points per game average.
SERIES HISTORY VS. CBU
Utah Valley and California Baptist meet up on the basketball hardwood for the eighth time on Saturday. The Wolverines hold an all-time 4-3 advantage in the series. UVU swept the two-game series last season in Orem, winning 81-77 and 77-50. CBU won the first game of this season's WAC series in Riverside, taking a 75-73 win on Jan. 15. Four of the seven games in the series have been decided by four points or less and five of the seven games have been decided by seven or less points.

AIMAQ BREAKS ALL-TIME UVU SINGLE SEASON REBOUNDS RECORD
With his 21 rebounds at Dixie State on Feb. 20,
Fardaws Aimaq surpassed Geddes Robinson as the all-time single season rebounder in UVU history. Aimaq now has a single season school-record 374 rebounds, passing Robinson who had 344 rebounds during the 2011-12 season.
20/20 CLUB
Fardaws Aimaq is the only player in the nation with three 20/20 games this season. The sophomore center recorded a 24-point, 22-rebound game in a win over then No. 12-ranked BYU at home. He then became the only player in the country to record back-to-back 20/20 games with a 20-point, 22-rebound game in a win at Tarleton (Feb. 16, 2022), followed by a 21-point, 20-rebound game in a loss at Dixie State (Feb. 19, 2022). There have only been 13 20/20 games this season and Aimaq has three of them.
