LAS VEGAS—Josie Williams recorded her 24th double-double of the season with 12 points and a game-high 15 rebounds to lead Utah Valley in a 68-42 loss to top-seeded Stephen F. Austin in the semifinals of the Western Athletic Conference Tournament on Friday at Orleans Arena.

Utah Valley wraps up its season with a 16-15 overall record, while SFA improves to 27-4 overall. The Jacks move on to Saturday's WAC Tournament championship game.

Utah Valley's Maria Carvalho and Kayla Anderson knocked down threes to open the game as the Wolverines jumped out to a 6-0 lead. UVU held on to an 8-4 lead before the SFA full court pressure forced UVU into four UVU turnovers as the Jacks went on a 10-0 run to take a 14-8 lead with two minutes remaining in the first quarter. Madison Grange then hit a pair of free throws and Williams knocked down a shot to get back to within two points, 14-12. SFA's Stephanie Visscher then hit a driving layup as time expired to give the Jacks a 16-12 at the end of the first.

UVU's Williams hit a jumper to open the second quarter, followed by Grange and Anderson threes as the Wolverines went on a 10-0 run to take a 22-16 lead with seven minutes to play in the half. SFA then responded with a 11-4 run of its own to take a 27-26 advantage into halftime.

SFA went on a 17-4 run through the first eight minutes of the third quarter to take a 44-30 lead with 2:53 remaining. UVU's Megan Jensen and Grange hit back-to-back shots to cut the SFA lead back to 10 points, 44-34, with 1:23 left in the third, but SFA scored five unanswered points over the last minute to take a 49-34 lead into the fourth quarter.

Utah Valley scored the first two buckets of the fourth quarter, including a Carvalho three to cut the SFA lead back to 11 points, 49-38, with 8:14 to go. Stephen F. Austin responded right back with a 14-4 run to extend the lead to 21 points, 63-42, with three minutes to play. SFA scored the last five points of the quarter to secure the 68-42 win.

Williams' 10-point, 15-rebound double-double is her 24th double-double of the season, which is the third-most double-doubles in the nation this season and the single-season school record. She connected on 4 of 5 shots from the field and was a perfect 2 of 2 from the charity stripe.

Megan Jensen was also in double figures with 10 points. She also pulled down three rebounds and dished out three assists. Carvalho and Grange each scored seven points, while Anderson helped with six. Carvalho also had six rebounds, two assists, and a steal.
