The Utah Valley women's golf team will open its 2022-23 season by hosting the Hobble Creek Fall Classic on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 12-13, at Hobble Creek Golf Course in Springville, Utah

Tournament Format
The Hobble Creek Fall Classic will be a two-day/54-hole tournament. Action will begin with a shotgun start each day. The field will play 36 holes of action on Monday beginning at 7:45 a.m. MT and will conclude the event with a final round of 18 holes on Tuesday beginning at 7:45 a.m. MT. Limited live scoring will be available by visiting GolfStat.com.
Last Time at the Hobble Creek Fall Classic 
Utah Valley posted a 10th-place finish out of 17 teams at the Hobble Creek Fall Classic in 2021. Playing the event as an individual, sophomore 
Lauren Taylor had the best outing by placing 13th with a 7-over-par 220. 
Bailey Henley was UVU's top team finisher by tying for 26th with a 13-over-par 226. Henley opened her senior campaign with Utah Valley's best round of the tournament with an even-par 71 on Monday and followed that up with scores of 76 and 79 to finish at 13-over.  
Leighton Shosted was next for the Wolverines by tying for 38th with a 17-over-par 230. In her first collegiate event, Shosted posted scores of 75, 75 and 80 to tie for 38th.
Tournament Field
The 18-team field will include Utah Valley, Boise State, Cal State Fullerton, CSUN, Idaho, Idaho State, Lamar, Portland State, Montana, North Dakota State, Southern Utah, Tarleton, UC Davis, UC Riverside, Utah Tech, Weber State, and Wyoming. Utah Valley will also field a "B" team.
