UTAH VALLEY HOSTS SEC FOE ALABAMA TUESDAY MORNING AT CLYDE FIELD
Utah Valley continues play at home on Tuesday morning against SEC foe Alabama. The match will kick off at 11 a.m. at Clyde Field.
The Wolverines head into Tuesday's match against the Crimson Tide fresh off a 6-1 win over Idaho State on Saturday night. The six scores are the most goals recorded in a single game this season for UVU. Heather Stainbrook and Nicole Ray each recorded braces in the win over ISU, while Faith Webber and Isabella Stewart also found the back of the net. The Wolverines also defeated CSUN 3-1 last week at Clyde Field. Julianna Carter registered a brace with a pair of goals and Webber added one of her own to help the UVU to the 3-1 win over the Matadors.
Utah Valley has scored 12 goals this season with Carter and Stainbrook leading the team with three goals apiece. Webber and Ray each have two goals, while Steward and Sydney Bushman have one. The Wolverines have an impressive 13 assists coming from nine different players. Webber leads the Wolverines in assists (4) and shots (19). Carter leads UVU in shots on goal with nine. In goal Idalia Serrano has allowed only two goals in her five matches while collecting eight saves and two clean sheets.
The Wolverines continue play at home on Tuesday morning where the team holds an impressive 11-game unbeaten streak. UVU's last loss at Clyde Field was over a year ago on Aug. 28 when the Wolverines took a 4-2 setback to 25th-ranked USC.
