Lipscomb goalkeeper CJ Graham transfers to Utah Valley

OREM—Utah Valley University women's soccer head coach Chris Lemay has announced that Lipscomb goalkeeper CJ Graham has signed with Utah Valley and will join the team for the 2023 season.

"CJ is a proven top-level goalkeeper, and we are thrilled to have added her to our program," said Lemay. "Her playing resume speaks for itself; she has earned All-Conference and All-Region honors because she is a big-time goalkeeper that is hard to beat but what excites us the most is the level of person and student she is as well. We feel confident that she will add to our team culture, she has great values in life and on the field and through the recruiting process it was evident that she is mature, and her leadership will be a positive impact on the players around her."

Graham, a 5-foot-9 keeper, played the last three seasons at Lipscomb where she earned numerous accolades, including Atlantic Sun Conference Goalkeeper of the Year, ASUN First Team All-Conference, ASUN All-Tournament team, and United Soccer Coaches All-Region honors. She also earned numerous ASUN Player of the Week honors.

The Asheville, North Carolina native helped Lipscomb to an ASUN regular season title, an ASUN Tournament championship, and an NCAA Tournament appearance in 2021. In her three seasons at Lipscomb, Graham played in 42 matches and made 41 starts. In those 42 matches, Graham recorded a 24-10-5 record with 21 shutouts. She held an impressive 0.80 goals against average and tallied 148 saves with a .818 save percentage.

Graham had an impressive prep career at the Nesbitt Discover Academy. She was a four-time all-district honoree and led her team to the state title in 2015.

Graham is a grad transfer and will be entering Utah Valley's Master of Science in Nursing program. She will have two years of eligibility with the Wolverines.
