"I thought we handled our business," said Utah Valley head coach
Todd Phillips. "Our goal is to get better every game and keep grinding out what we're doing with this young group. We worked on some things we've been struggling with and built some confidence that way. In these types of games, you have to come out and play hard and be aggressive early and take them out of the game early and we were able to do that tonight. I'm really proud of our guys for handling their business and coming back after a big turkey dinner last night and playing really well."
Stone-Carrawell knocked down 6 of 9 shots from the floor, including a 1 of 1 mark from long range and a perfect 2 of 2 clip at the free throw line for his 15 points. He also pulled down five rebounds with three assists.
