• Utah Valley heads back out on the road this week as the Wolverines travel to The Beaver State to take on Pac-12 foe Oregon State on Saturday afternoon in Corvallis. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m. (MT)
   
• Caleb Stone-Carrawell scored a game-high 19 points and Nate Tshimanga added a career-high 14 points to lead Utah Valley to a 70-54 win over in-state rival Weber State on Tuesday night at the UCCU Center. Jaden McClanahan was in double figures with 10 points. He also dished out five assists with three rebounds and a steal.
   
• UVU opened WAC play with a 1-1 record last week with a win at home over Seattle U and a road loss to Utah Tech. UVU's next WAC game isn't until Jan. 4 against California Baptist at the UCCU Center.
   
• Utah Valley went 1-1 at the Jacksonville Classic in St. Augustine, Florida, Nov. 19-20. The Wolverines defeated Southern Miss, 67-64, before falling to Cornell in the championship game, 74-61. UVU also dropped a 62-45 decision at Charlotte to open the eight-day road trip to North Carolina and Florida.
   
• With its win over Weber State on Tuesday night, Utah Valley has won 11 straight games at home and 21 of its last 22 at the UCCU Center. UVU's last loss at home was an 85-80 setback to Seattle U on Jan. 14, 2023. The 11 straight home wins is the 11th longest home win streak in the nation.

BROADCAST INFORMATION
Saturday's game at Oregon State will be broadcast live on the Pac-12 Network. Ann Schatz will be on the call for the Pac-12 Network broadcast. The game will also be broadcast over the air waves in Utah County with Jim McCulloch and Brice Larson on the call. The radio broadcast will be aired live on ESPN 960 AM radio with a live stream available at ESPN960sports.com. Larson will host the pregame/halftime/postgame show  for the game on ESPN 960 AM. 

ABOUT OREGON STATE
Oregon State enters Tuesday night's game with a 5-3 overall record. The Beavers are a perfect 5-0 at home this season. After dropping three straight games away from home, Oregon State rebounded with a pair of home wins, including a 70-63 double overtime win over Cal Poly on Dec. 4. Sophomore forward Michael Rataj made his first start of the season, recording a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds in the double overtime win over Cal Poly. Oregon State ranks 15th nationally and leads the Pac-12 Conference  in free throws made per game (19.0). The team also ranks 28th in the country and first in the Pac-12 in free throw attempts per game (24.9). Sophomore guard Jordan Pope leads the team in scoring at 16.4 points a game. Dexter Akanno and Tyler Bilodeau also average double figures at 12.3 and 11.9 points per game, respectively. Bilodeau fronts the team on the boards, pulling down 6.1 rebounds a contest. As a team, Oregon State is averaging 71.3 points a game while holding opponents to a 70.9 points per game average. 

SERIES HISTORY VS. OREGON STATE AND THE PAC-12 CONFERENCE
Utah Valley (6-3) and Weber State (5-3) will meet up on the basketball hardwood for just the second time on Saturday afternoon. Utah Valley won the only game between the two teams, taking a 70-68 win in Corvallis on Dec. 1, 2010. Utah Valley holds an all-time 3-10 record against the Pac-12 Conference, but has won three straight dating back to a 68-52 win at Washington on Dec. 21, 2021. The Wolverines then picked up a pair of Pac-12 road wins last season with a 77-72 win at Oregon and an 81-69 win at Colorado in the second round of the 2023 NIT.
