ARLINGTON—Utah Valley senior Caden Weber has been named the TicketSmarter Western Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week for the competition week ending on March 14.
 
Weber fired three-round score of 8-under-par 205 (66-70-69) to claim the individual championship in the 108-player field at the Bash at the Beach tournament at The Surf Golf and Beach Club in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The win is the first individual championship of Weber's collegiate career. 
 
The Peoria, Arizona native was a runner-up just two weeks ago at the Loyola Intercollegiate and has now followed up that performance with individual medalist honors in South Carolina. He has three top-10 performances this season. In his last two tournaments, Weber holds a combined 213-1 record against the field.
 
Weber will continue play at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic, April 3-4, at Whirlwind Golf Club in Chandler, Arizona.
