This Week
The Utah Valley men's golf team will travel to the Golden State this week to compete in the UC Santa Barbara Intercollegiate, April 10-11, at Sandpiper Golf Club in Santa Barbara, California.
  
Tournament Format
The tournament will be a 54-hole, three-round, two-day event that will begin with two rounds on Monday, April 10, with a 7:30 a.m. (PT) shotgun start. The final round will take place on Tuesday, April 11.­­
 
Quoting Coach Chris Curran 
"The guys are looking to get things back on track this week. This is a new event for us. The golf course is phenomenal. I'm excited for the challenge."

Last Time on the course
Utah Valley shot a final-round score of 15-over-par 303 on April 4 to finish 17th in the 21-team field at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic at Whirlwind Golf Club with a three-round 31-over-par 895 (285-307-303). Caden Weber shot a 4-over-par 76 in the final round to finish in a tie for 49th in the 116-player field with a three-round score of 6-over-par 222 (71-75-76). Weber had a pair of birdies in his final round to go along with 11 pars. 

Tournament Field
The 12-team field will include host UC Santa Barbara, UC Riverside, UC San Diego, Weber State, Cal State Northridge, Utah Tech, Southern Utah, Westmont College, California Lutheran, Utah State, and Utah Valley.

About the Course
The tournament will be played at the par 72, 7,071-yard Sandpiper Golf Club on the Seaside Course in Santa Barbara, California. 

Team UVU
Competing for UVU this week will be Caden Weber, Brady McKinlay, Joseph Glenn, Kai Iguchi, and Ethan Efford. Evan Lawrence will be competing at the tournament as an individual.
