OREM—Utah Valley head coach Todd Phillips has announced the signing of Corner Canyon High School standout Jaxson Roberts to a National Letter of Intent to play for the Wolverines. 
 
"Jaxson is a great competitor and winner," said Phillips. "He helped lead Corner Canyon to the 6A State Championship. Jaxson has a big-time motor and a knack to always make the right play."
 
Roberts, a 6-foot-2 guard, led Corner Canyon to an impressive 25-3 overall record and a perfect 10-0 mark in region play. Roberts averaged 15.3 points, 4.0 assists, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.6 steals per game, leading the Chargers to the 6A State Championship.
 
The Draper, Utah native was named the 6A State Tournament MVP after averaging nearly 21 points per game while shooting 63 percent from the field over three games to lead the Chargers to the state title. Roberts was named to the 2023 6A All-State First Team. 
 
Roberts will serve a two-year church mission in Spain before joining the Wolverines for the 2025-26 season.
