OREM—Utah Valley University women's soccer player Faith Webber has been named the Valley Women's Health Student-Athlete of the Month for August. Utah Valley University Athletics and Valley Women's Health have teamed up to honor a female student-athlete each month during the school year. 
 
Webber, a junior forward from Grand Blanc, Michigan, helped lead the Utah Valley women's soccer team to a 2-2-1 record in the month of August. Webber led the Wolverines with a team-best five goals and 11 points. She scored the game-winning goals in a 5-1 win over Houston Christian and 6-0 shutout at Idaho State. She also scored the game-tying goal in a 1-1 draw at Hawaii. Webber also tallied a team-best 22 shots, including 15 shots on goal.
 
Webber continues play as Utah Valley hosts rival BYU on Saturday night at Clyde Field. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
