OREM, Utah — Utah Valley University head coach
Todd Phillips has announced the addition of Seena Namdar as the program's graduate assistant.
"Seena is well-connected in the JUCO world and is a fantastic skill development coach," Phillips said. "We're excited to have him join the Wolverine staff. We expect great things from Seena as he develops as a graduate assistant and grows as a coach."
Namdar comes to Utah Valley after spending the past two seasons at Salt Lake Community College as a graduate assistant and special assistant to the head coach. During his time at SLCC, he helped the team secure two national tournament appearances and maintain a top-10 national ranking in both seasons.
A native of Sandy, Utah, Namdar played two seasons at Colorado Northwestern Community College, earning All-Academic First Team honors and the Region 18 Sportsmanship Award. He also served as a trainer for Lace 'Em Up Basketball and prepped at Alta High School.
