OREM, Utah – Utah Valley wrestling will return to action this week with a dual against No. 23 Oregon State on Friday, Dec. 20 at 7:00 p.m. MT inside Lockhart Arena. It will mark the Beavers' first visit to Orem since the 2016-2017 season when UVU edged out OSU 17-16 by criteria.

Terrell Barraclough dropped his opening match of the tournament before winning out to claim third place. He earned ranked wins over No. 28 Cesar Alvan, No. 3 Sammy Sasso, No. 12 Brock Mantanona, No. 6 Hunter Garvin, and No. 11 Bubba Wilson.
Kase Mauger upset West Virginia's No. 23 Jett Strickenberger, and
Caleb Uhlenhopp knocked off returning All-American and No. 12 TJ Stewart of Virginia Tech.
SCOUTING THE BEAVERS
Oregon State enters Orem with a 1-2 record, with their lone win coming over North Dakota State, but the two losses have come to No. 2 Iowa and No. 3 Oklahoma State. The Beavers are coming off a 13
th place finish in Las Vegas at the Cliff Keen Invitational, led by a fifth-place finish from No. 21 Brett Mower at heavyweight and six place finishes from the No. 11 Maximo Renteria and two-time All-American No. 8 Trey Munoz.
SERIES HISTORY AGAINST THE BEAVERS
Oregon State and Utah Valley will meet on the mat for the seventh time in history, with OSU holding a slight edge with a 4-2 record. The last UVU win in the series came inside Lockhart Arena, 17-16, back in the 2016-2017 season. The Wolverines won five of the last six matches in the dual.

Fans could see a pair of rematches from CKLV. No. 18
Haiden Drury picked up a 5-1 decision over No. 29 Nash Singleton while on his way to earning his 13
th win of the season later in the tournament.
Jack Forbes fell to No. 21 Brett Mower by major decision. UVU's redshirt junior has been in the rankings twice this season and will look to get back in with his second-ranked win of the season.
