UTAH VALLEY CONCLUDES SEVEN-GAME ROAD STRETCH AT JAMES MADISON ON SATURDAY
- Utah Valley will wrap up its seven-game, month-long road stretch with a first-ever meeting against Sun Belt opponent James Madison on Saturday at 2 p.m. MT at the Atlantic Union Bank Center. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+ and over the airwaves on the Wolverine Sports Network.

- Utah Valley fell 77-63 to Stanford on Tuesday night at Maples Pavilion despite a game-high 22 points and seven rebounds from Dominick Nelson. Tanner Toolson added 11 points and eight rebounds for the Wolverines, who dropped their third straight game to fall to 4-4 on the season. UVU led early and cut the deficit to nine in the second half but couldn't overcome Stanford's 47.6% shooting. The Wolverines shot 36.9% from the field and were outrebounded 38-35.

- Carter Welling was named the University Credit Union WAC Men's Basketball Newcomer of the Week after averaging 16.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 1.0 block per game over three contests last week. - Utah Valley completed a challenging nine-day southern road trip Nov. 21-29, traveling to Murray, Kentucky, with a stop in Nashville, Tennessee, before heading to Birmingham, Alabama. The Wolverines finished the trip with a 2-2 record, picking up an impressive last-second win over Murray State. UVU then defeated West Georgia while falling to Samford and North Dakota State at the Samford Thanksgiving Invitational.

- After opening the season with two games at home, Utah Valley has been on the road for over a month with seven straight road games. The Wolverines will play 11 of their 14 non-conference games on the road, traveling a total of 15,180 miles during this stretch. Key stops include Murray, Kentucky; Birmingham, Alabama; Stanford, California; Harrisonburg, Virginia; Jacksonville, Alabama; Pocatello, Idaho; and Ogden, Utah. UVU will return home for the first time in over a month on Dec. 11 to host North Dakota.

Saturday's game at James Madison will be broadcast live on ESPN+, which is available on the ESPN app and at ESPNplus.com. Curt Dudley and Kirby Dean will be on the call for the ESPN+ broadcast. The game will also be broadcast over the air waves on the Wolverine Sports Network with Jim McCulloch on the call. The radio broadcast will be aired live on ESPN 960 AM/103.9 FM radio in Utah County and 98.3 FM/105.1 (HD2) in Salt Lake City with a live stream available at ESPN960sports.com. Larson will host the pregame/halftime/postgame show for the game.
ABOUT JAMES MADISON
James Madison (5-4) enters Saturday's matchup against Utah Valley after a 71-61 home win over ETSU at the Atlantic Union Bank Center. The Dukes led by as many as 16 points and held ETSU to just 35.9% shooting, including 1-of-12 from the field in the final minutes. Xavier Brown leads JMU in scoring at 14.1 points per game, while Bryce Lindsay adds 13.8 points per game. Mark Freeman (12.3 PPG) and Elijah Hutchins-Everett (11.8 PPG) also average double figures. AJ Smith leads the team on the boards with 7.1 rebounds per game. JMU has been strong defensively, holding opponents to under 30 first-half points in three straight games and allowing just 69.2 points per game over its last five contests. The Dukes are 3-1 at home this season and will conclude their three-game homestand against UVU. Saturday's game will mark the first-ever meeting between the two programs.

Utah Valley will conclude a stretch of seven straight road games on Saturday at James Madison in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Utah Valley started strong, holding a 12-6 lead early in the first half and trailing by just two, 28-26, with 4:29 remaining before halftime. However, Stanford closed the half on a 10-0 run to take a 38-26 lead at the break. The Cardinal extended its lead to 19 early in the second half, but UVU responded with a 14-4 run to pull within nine, 53-44, with 11 minutes left. Despite the rally, the Wolverines couldn't get closer as Stanford secured the 14-point victory.
