UTAH VALLEY SEEKS FIFTH STRAIGHT WIN AGAINST SFA ON SATURDAY AT UCCU CENTER
- Utah Valley continues WAC play at home as the Wolverines host conference foe Stephen F. Austin on Saturday afternoon at the UCCU Center. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m.

- Trevin Dorius recorded a 15-point, 14-rebound double-double and Ethan Potter scored 16 points to lead Utah Valley to a fourth straight victory in a 70-59 win over UT Rio Grande Valley on Thursday night at the UCCU Center. Jaden McClanahan and Tanner Toolson were also in double figures with 11 and 10 points, respectively. Drake Allen matched a career high with 11 assists. He also pulled down five rebounds with a block.

- Ethan Potter has averaged 14.7 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game over his last seven games, including his career-high 20-point performance in the 72-45 win over Abilene Christian on Feb. 10. Prior to his break-out 15-point game at SFA on Feb. 1, Potter was averaging 2.2 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 0.3 blocks per game.

- Drake Allen dished out a career-high 11 assists for a second time this season in UVU's win over UTRGV on Thursday night. He also had 10 assists at Stephen F. Austin on Feb. 1. The 11 assists tie him for the fifth most ever recorded in a single game in UVU history. Allen is the only player in the WAC this season to record double digit assists two times this season. Allen and Jaden McClanahan (10 assists vs. Carroll College) are two of only three players in the WAC to dish out 10 or more assists in a single game this season. Allen ranks second in the WAC in assists per game this season at 4.3 helpers a game.

- Trevin Dorius recorded a career-high five blocks against WAC leader Grand Canyon on Feb. 3, which is the second most blocks pulled down in a single game this season in the WAC. Dorius ranks second in the WAC in blocks at 1.78 swats per game. Dorius has recorded three or more blocks in four of his last six games and is averaging 3.3 blocks per game over his last six games.

- The Wolverines held Division I opponents to under 50 points in back-to-back games for the first time in program history with its 74-45 win over Abilene Christian on Feb. 10 and its 69-46 win at California Baptist on Feb. 15 .It marks the third overall time in UVU history that the Wolverines have held an opponent to under 50 points in back-to-back games (regardless of opponent classification).

- As a team, Utah Valley leads the WAC in assist-to-turnover ratio at 1.23. Drake Allen leads WAC in assist-to-turnover ratio at 2.20. UVU also ranks second in assists per game at 15.22. Trevin Dorius ranks sixth in the WAC in rebounding at 7.56 boards a game. Dorius is also ranks tied for third in offensive boards per game at 2.85

- Utah Valley used its eight different starting lineup this season on Feb. 10 against Abilene Christian. The Wolverines have used a starting lineup that has included two freshmen with Tanner Toolson and Osiris Grady five times this season.

Saturday's game against UTRGV will be broadcast live on ESPN+. Brandon Crow and Josh Kallunki will be on the call for the ESPN+ broadcast. The game will also be broadcast over the air waves in Utah County with Jim McCulloch and Brice Larson on the call. Stephen F. Austin enters Saturday's game with a 14-12 overall record and a 7-8 mark in WAC play. The Jacks hold a 4-6 record on the road this season. SFA has dropped three straight games, including a 69-49 loss at Seattle U on Thursday night. The game at Seattle U marks the first of four straight road games for the Jacks. Jalil Beaubrun led SFA with 13 points in the loss to the Redhawks. The Jacks shot just 27.8% (15-42) and 20% (3-15) against Seattle U. Utah Valley and Stephen F. Austin will meet for just the fourth time on the basketball hardwood on Thursday. The Wolverines hold an all-time 1-2 record against SFA. The two teams have played in Orem only one time with the Wolverines taking a 113-69 win on March 3, 2023. SFA won the last meeting between the two teams, downing UVU 77-72 in Nacogdoches on Feb. 1.Â

Prior to the game at Stephen F. Austin on Feb. 1, Ethan Potter was averaging 2.2 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 0.3 blocks per game. His best game was an eight-point, 5-rebound performance in a 87-52 win over Division II Western Colorado. In the loss at SFA on Feb. 1, Potter scored 15 points and pulled down seven rebounds. In Utah Valley's last seven games, Potter is averaging 14.7 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.2 blocks, and 0.57 steals per game. He is shooting 63% (46-73) from the field and 78.6% (11-14) from the free throw line.Â

Drake Allen dished out 11 dimes in UVU's 77-72 loss at Stephen F. Austin on Feb. 1, becoming just the seventh player in program history to record 11 or more assists in a single game. He then did it again, recording 11 assists in UVU's 70-59 win over UTRGV on Feb. 22. He is only the third player in UVU history to record 10-plus assists in two games during his career.
ALLEN AND MCCLANAHAN ARE TWO OF ONLY THREE WAC PLAYERS TO RECORD A 10-PLUS ASSIST GAME
Drake Allen dished out a career-high 11 assists in UVU road loss at Stephen F. Austin on Feb. 1 and then recorded 11 assists again in a 70-59 win over UTRGV on Feb. 22. Jaden McClanahan dished out a career-high 10 assists in Utah Valley's 81-73 win over Carroll College on in the team's season opener on Nov. 6. Allen and McClanahan's 10-plus assist performances are two of only three such 10-plus assist single game performances in the WAC this season. Alex Schumacher is the only other player to record 10 or more assists as he recorded 11 assists in Seattle U's 92-55 win over Idaho on Nov. 22. Allen is the only player in the WAC this season to record 10 or more assists in multiple games.
UCCU CENTER MAGIC
Utah Valley holds an impressive 78-19 (80.4%) record at home since a win over Seattle U on March 4, 2017. The Wolverines hold an all-time 229-65 (77.8%) record as the team is in its 21st season at the UCCU Center. The Wolverines are averaging 10.9 wins a season on their home hardwood. UVU finished 14-1 at home last season. The team has won 25 of its last 28 games at home and 33 of its last 38 at the UCCU Center. Utah Valley's 14 wins at home during the 2022-23 season tied the program record for home wins in a season with the 2006-07, 2011-12, and 2018-19 seasons. UVU is 9-3 at home this season.
TREVIN "WASATCH FRONT" DORIUS CLIMBING SINGLE SEASON BLOCKS CHART
Utah Valley graduate center Trevin Dorius is climbing the UVU single season blocks charts. Dorius currently as 48 blocks, which is tied for the seventh-best single season blocks total in single season history. Dorius' 1.7 blocks per game ties him for sixth on the UVU single season blocks per game chart.Â

Utah Valley junior guard Drake Allen is currently tied for 10th on UVU's single season steals per game chart at 1.5 steals per game. He is also on the verge of breaking into the top-10 on UVU's single season total steals chart with 39.Â
