UTAH VALLEY WRAPS UP REGULAR SEASON PLAY AT ABILENE CHRISTIAN ON SATURDAY
- Utah Valley continues WAC play in The Lone Star State as the team travels to play Abilene Christian on Saturday in the team's' regular season finale. Tip-off at Moody Coliseum is set for 2 p.m. (MT). The game will be broadcast live on ESPN+ and over the airwaves on ESPN 960 AM radio.

- Ethan Potter recorded his first career double-double with career highs of 22 points and 15 rebounds to lead Utah Valley to a 63-60 road win over Tarleton State on Thursday night at Wisdom Gym, snapping the Texans' 10-game winning streak—the second longest win streak in the nation. The Wolverines rallied from a 13-point second half deficit and outscored the Texans 15-2 over the final nine minutes to capture the win. Drake Allen helped with 20 points in the victory.

- With 15 wins this season, head coach Todd Phillips has won more games than any first-year head coach in Utah Valley's full Division I status era. He also has the best KenPom rating (165) for a first-year head coach in program history. UVU became a full Division I member in 2009 after a seven-year provisional period. Mark Pope won 12 games during his first season (2015-16) and Mark Madsen won 11 games in his first season (2019-20) with the squad.

- Ethan Potter has led UVU over its past 10 games, averaging 14.8 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game, including his career-high 22-point, 15-rebound performance in the 63-60 win at Tarleton State on Thursday night. Prior to his break-out 15-point game at SFA on Feb. 1, Potter was averaging 2.2 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 0.3 blocks per game.

- Jaden McClanahan and Drake Allen have each dished out a career-high 11 assists in a game this season. Allen and McClanahan are two of only four players in the WAC to dish out 10 or more assists in a single game this season. The UVU guards are the only two players in the WAC this season to record 10 or more assists in multiple games this season. McClanahan ranks first and Allen second in the WAC in assist-to-turnover ratio at 2.21 and 2.13, respectively. Allen ranks second in assists in the WAC at 4.25 per game.

- Trevin Dorius matched a career-high with five blocks against UT Arlington on March 2. He also had five swats against WAC leader Grand Canyon on Feb. 3. The five blocks games are tied for the second most blocks pulled down in a single game this season in the WAC. Dorius ranks second the WAC in blocks at 1.87 swats per game.

- As a team, Utah Valley leads the WAC in assist-to-turnover ratio at 1.22. Jaden McClanahan leads WAC in assist-to-turnover ratio at 2.21, while Drake Allen ranks second at 2.13. UVU also ranks second in assists per game at 15.13. Trevin Dorius ranks fifth in the WAC in rebounding at 7.83 boards a game. Dorius is also ranks third in offensive boards per game at 2.97.

- Utah Valley used its eight different starting lineup this season on Feb. 10 against Abilene Christian. The Wolverines have now used the same starting lineup in the team's last five games, all of which have resulted in victories. UVU has used the same starting lineup of Drake Allen, Tanner Toolson, Jaden McClanahan, Ethan Potter, and Trevin Dorius for seven straight games.

Abilene Christian enters Saturday's game against Utah Valley with an identical record to the Wolverines at 15-15 overall and 10-9 in WAC play. The Wildcats are 8-5 at home this season. ACU has not dropped a game since falling 74-45 to Utah Valley on Feb. 10. The team has won seven straight, including a 64-59 win at home over Seattle U on Thursday night. Ali Abdou Dibba and Hunter Jack Madden led ACU with 13 points apiece, while Leonardo Bettiol recorded a 10-point, 15-rebound double-double in the win. Dibba leads the team in scoring at 15.4 points a game. Airion Simmons and Madden also average double figures at 13.0 and 12.4 points per game, respectively. Simmons leads the team on the boards, pulling down 6.4 rebounds a game. The Wildcats rank 18th nationally in turnovers forced per game (15.17) and are 39th nationally in turnover margin (2.7). ACU also ranks 30th in the country in free throws made per game (16.6) and 33rd in free throw attempts per game (22.7). SERIES HISTORY VS. THE WILDCATS
Utah Valley and Abilene Christian will meet for the sixth time on the basketball hardwood with UVU leading the series tied 3-2. Utah Valley has won three straight games over the Wildcats, taking both games in last season's two-game series before picking up a 74-45 win in Orem earlier this season. Saturday's game will be just the second contest between the two teams in Abilene. The Wolverine won the only game played between the two teams in Abilene last season with a 66-62 win over the Wildcats on Feb. 24, 2023.
