Jared Nation also had a PR in the javelin, hitting 61.02 meters for the No. 7 spot in the school record book.
Austin Kleinman set a personal record in the discus, with his distance of 47.41 meters improving on his No. 8 spot.

Austin Hone ran in the final 10k heat of the night and just over 23 minutes into the race, the stadium lights went out as the clock struck midnight. Still, Hone recorded a top 10 after finishing in 29:48.17, good enough for fourth all-time at UVU.
The Wolverines will now compete at the Beach Invitational at Long Beach State on Friday and Saturday. The distance squad will also continue at both the Bryan Clay and the La Verne Distance Carnival.
