ARLINGTON—Utah Valley junior golfer Zachary Erskine has been named the WAC Men's Golfer of the Week for his play this past week at the UNC Spring Invitational in Colorado.

Erskine won co-medalist honors at the event with a two-round score of 8-under-par 136 (69-67). He tied Utah State's Enrique Karg for the top spot on the 46-player leaderboard.

The Chandler, Arizona native shot a 3-under-par 69 in round one before carding a 5-under-par 67 in round two. He tallied 11 birdies and 22 pars over his two rounds of play before the third round was cancelled due to poor weather conditions.

Erskine will be back on the course next week when Utah Valley competes in the 2024 WAC Championship at Chaparral Pines in Payson, Arizona.
