Utah Valley signs JUCO standout Kylin Green

OREM—Utah Valley head coach Todd Phillips has announced that Daytona State standout point guard Kylin Green has transferred to Utah Valley and will play for the Wolverines this next season.

"Kylin is a dynamic guard who can both manage the game and score effectively," said Phillips. "I'm really impressed by his approach to the game. He brings a tireless work ethic, fierce competitiveness, and remarkable leadership on and off the court. Kylin is not just a consistent threat from beyond the arc, but also a playmaker who sees the floor exceptionally well. His decision-making is top-notch. More than anything, he has the ability to elevate his teammates. We're thrilled to have him join the Utah Valley family."

Green, a 175-pound, 6-foot guard, played the last two seasons (2022-24) at Daytona State where he led the Falcons to a 28-4 record and a Citrus Conference championship. Green averaged 13.7 points, 5.6 assists, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.6 steals per game for the Falcons last season. He shot an impressive 59.8% from the field and 55.3% from beyond the arc.

The Dallas, Texas native prepped at Lewisville High School (2018-21) where he earned All-Region and All-District honors. He wrapped up his time at LHS with 1,634 points, 638 rebounds, 332 assists, and 225 steals. Green also played the 2021-22 season at Florida Coastal Prep.

Green will join the Wolverines for the 2024-25 season.
