LMU guard Noah Taitz transfers to Utah Valley

OREM—Utah Valley head coach Todd Phillips has announced that former Stanford and LMU standout Noah Taitz has transferred to Utah Valley and will play for the Wolverines this upcoming season.

"We are thrilled to welcome Noah to the Wolverine family," said Phillips. "His incredible sharpshooting skills and resilience through adversity make him a standout addition to our team. As a four-star recruit straight out of high school, Noah has always been a natural scorer. We have no doubt he will make an immediate impact and elevate our program to new heights."

Taitz, a 6-foot-4, 190-pound guard, transfers to Utah Valley from LMU, where he appeared in five games. Taitz did not play the 2022-23 season due to an injury. He played his freshman and sophomore seasons at Stanford, where he played in 38 games over the two seasons (2020-22).

The Las Vegas native prepped at Bishop Gorman High School, where he was an ESPN four-star recruit and a three-star recruit by 247Sports and Rivals. He was the 22nd-ranked shooting guard in the nation. He led BGHS to four straight Nevada state championships and was an All-State selection as a sophomore and a junior. He helped Bishop Gorman to a No. 14 national ranking. Taitz played for Vegas Elite on the AAU circuit.

Taitz will join the Wolverines for the 2024-25 season.
